Kamala Harris is set to visit the Border

Not that it's going to change a single thing that she does, nor change a single after she does.
Pretty clear the Biden border policy is 'Open Borders', simply by the mere fact of the flood of migrants, legal and otherwise, entering the country and being dispersed throughout it's interior.

I agree but politically she was avoiding the assigned project. She has been degraded to the point to where this can’t hurt her politically. She’ll drag her feet like a kid punished to their room.

That's true. Given that the root causes of the current crisis lies at 1600 Pennsylvania avenue, she obviously has no interest in addressing.

Just as it would have been if she had gone earlier. I think it's dumb of her go at all but then again I don't think she has handled this entire thing very well.

I would not underestimate her ability screw this up. She has shown time and time again that she was not and is not ready for prime time.

Politically Harris (if not the entire Biden administration) is already sunk due to her handling of the border crisis that the Biden administration's policies have wrought and specifically her handling of it, or rather distinct lack of handling of it.
 
Nothing will change as a result of Harris visiting the border. She's doing it to stop criticism that she hasn't visited the border, but the political opposition will still find something to criticize.

As for releasing "migrants" in the USA, and open borders, and all that nonsense:

I don't think it matters who visited the Mexico border when. Depending on. But when did President Trump or VP first visit the border?

When will Harris bashers accept the facts? She has not been, never was, tasked with handling the border crisis. That is not the job she was given! That responsibility rests exclusively with the Director of Homeland Security and Biden. I am no fan of Kamala Harris but these bogus shots at her are just plain BS. Go after the right people if you actually care about the mess at the border. The fact you are going after her suggests either you are ignorant of who is accountable for the mess at the border or your bigger "concern" is purely political.

And if she hadn't gone, folks would still be screaming "why aren't you going to the border?"
I could argue she should have gone a lot sooner just to shut her critics up, but had she gone sooner, her critics would just have found something else like "photo op" or " putting on a show" or "won't make a difference."

Doesn't matter what she does, what she says, how she does it, or how she says it, there are those who will find a problem with her just because........ (fill in the blanks)
