I loved his humorous writings from other parts of this forum, outside of politics. He loved to talk about food, music, and cooking, his family, and even asked me for a recipe of mine. He was cheerful enough here, and I am sure he touched the lives around him in a very positive way.

May you eternally rest in peace @justabubba and please say hello to a genuinely dear friend of mine who has recently passed, Overitall. 😢

The humility of the man was evident from his username. He was a thoughtful poster and, over the years I have been here for judging from his posts, an obviously decent human being.

I'm gutted to hear of his passing and will send all of the love I have in me to his family and friends, RIP mate and thanks for all the exchanges we had, you were a good soul.

Sad to hear this. He was one of our better ones. He's been around for as long as I can remember. I'm gonna miss him.

Many here have passed before him. May they all rest in peace.

I have often thought, should I pass away, who is going to let you guys know? I can't think of anyone that I know here, that I know, "in-person."

The only person I ever met here personally was Davo Muavo (sp?) and that was probably 17-18 years ago.

There should be a "safe-contact" program, so that any poster here, should they choose to, can share personal contact information with another member, for death events like that. Someone that they feel they can trust to NEVER reveal their identity (so as to remain anonymous.) They could check on their "safe-buddy" if they go missing in action. Or, maybe not. Just a thought.

We should have a Memorial Wall Forum too.

Pretty sure @Cardinal (who left DP voluntarily after the last election) started the “Best Burns” thread.
