By your above measure, all federal judges are incapable of being objective.Judge Breyer is hardly objective, being Clinton appointee.
What’s the score on injunctions won on appeal by the current Traitor Trump administration?Once it goes up the chain he, like others, will be overturned.
“Dumb”, really dumb, is any attempt to compare Eisenhower and Kennedy’s use of NG forces to enforce federal integration law and protect black folks in states with horrific histories of violence against them and their ancestors with the ongoing dispute between Newsom and Traitor Trump. No one bitched when Eisenhower and Kennedy did the same thing to enforce civil right laws. Well, individuals bitched, but no one was dumb enough to take it to court.
SCOTUS ruled in Biden’s favor. Biden chose not to federalize the Texas NG.I might add that when Abbot of Texas was using the Guard to enforce border control, Dems tried to get Biden to federalize the Texas guard under HIS control. I guarantee none of you would have been concerned in THAT case.
Oxymoron.Failing in the first sentence is much appreciated.
This post is hardly objective, being MAGA.
The issue is the Democrat campaign of filing lawsuits as a means of nullification of the election. It isn't, if you read the rulings, some of which have come from the Supreme Court as well.
Trump using lawsuits in his business career has nothing to do with the Democrats anti Constitutional lawsuit blitz. They lost an election, sure. To complain about litigation considering it's Trump's preferred way to settle things is worth a chuckle.
There is no way to get to 350 lawsuits in 6 months with a focus on broad overreaches of Executive power. The vast majority are complaints about things like the Trump administration delayed grant money to review the expenditure or ICE enforcement near schools. There are even lawsuits contesting disclosure of information between offices of the executive branch. It's abuse of the judicial system for Democrat obstructionism.Well that's what many of these lawsuits have been about, specifically perceived overreaches of executive power. You should know this because all of the Project 2025 folks in the administration have been pushing the unitary executive theory and are taking their shots.
Incorrect. None of the lawsuits nullify the results of the election. The issue is the Democrat campaign of filing lawsuits as a means of nullification of the election.
It does when he fills his DOJ with ex-personal lawyers.Trump using lawsuits in his business career has nothing to do with the Democrats anti Constitutional lawsuit blitz.
Sure, because many of the actions of the current administration were designed to be a full frontal assault on how things have been normally done by testing the legal limits of a wide array of existing policies and procedures. The Project 2025 folks designed it this way and meant to overwhelm the legal system so it couldn't react to everything, but they're finding out there was more resistance than planned. There is no way to get to 350 lawsuits in 6 months with a focus on broad overreaches of Executive power. Sounds dangerous. Who’s doing the raking now?Appeals court lets Trump keep control of National Guard troops deployed to Los Angeles
An appeals court is allowing President Donald Trump to keep control of National Guard troops he deployed to Los Angeles following protests over immigration raids.apnews.com
Looks like Gavin Newsom's attempted fascist power-grab was thwarted by the court.
NO KINGS!
How many violent protests have there been and how many Federal buildings have been attacked since the NG was deployed?Sounds dangerous. Who’s doing the raking now?
Your disagreement with a judge following the constitution does not make them an activist judge. This is bad news for Trump.
Dems are finally taking control. . . . I'm kidding, of course.
"Donald Trump will be relieved of his command at noon tomorrow." - Gavin Newsom
Yeah - right. As if Trump is going to accept the ruling of some low-level district court activist judge.
They are mostly standing around doing nothing and sucking up millions in tax dollars. My honest guess is there would be little or no change in that number with or without them. LAPD has been doing just fine agitating protesters all on their own. NG was far more useful in the other roles California had them performing. How many violent protests have there been and how many Federal buildings have been attacked since the NG was deployed?
Gavin predicted their presence would make things worse. He was wrong. It has gotten much better. Glad the city is safe from his poor judgment for now. They are mostly standing around doing nothing and sucking up millions in tax dollars. President Donald Trump was handed a major victory in his efforts to get the Los Angeles riots under control, courtesy of the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
The Wall Street Journal reported Friday that the three-judge panel of the court ordered Trump could maintain control of the California National Guard, blocking an order by a lower court that would have made him turn over command to California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom.
The impending doom is a figment of your imagination. In most cases the LAPD outnumbers protesters by 12:1. Meh let’s just cheer on DHS for spending like a drunken sailor. As you say it’s political just in a way you’re unwilling to admit.Gavin would like nothing more than to remove them and have the situation deteriorate again for his own political gain.

Very fiscally conservative of you. This thread didn't age very well.
What's that saying about counting chickens before they hatch?

I was going to say the same to you guys. When did this sudden concern about spending come about?Very fiscally conservative of you.
No it was plain English. No conservative pretzel twisting required.Maybe he meant dangerous lack of riots and burning federal buildings? Ya never know.
we don't mind spending money on things that are helpful.I was going to say the same to you guys. When did this sudden concern about spending come about?
Was that like you when you were crowing about the Michigan shooter not being a MAGA?This thread didn't age very well.

Scope and scaleCost of NG deployment: $134 million
Cost of BLM riots: $2 billion
How many Federal buildings were "attacked" prior? How many violent protests have there been and how many Federal buildings have been attacked since the NG was deployed?
The whole city was burned to the ground. How many Federal buildings were "attacked" prior?
Scope and scale
Been over this in the other thread. Trump is breaking the law in unheard of amounts. It’s why he keeps getting his ass handed to him in court, by both Republican and Democrat appointed judges.Democrats are on a pace to file more than a thousand lawsuits during President Trump’s second term in a blatant campaign to promote judicial tyranny. But let's ignore the fact the Democrats are ignoring the will of the voters in the election by filing more lawsuits to harass the Bad Orange Man than every other President faced combined. It's Trump's DOJ defending against the campaign of using lawsuits as a means of political repression that's the problem.
