Jim Comey's own words justify Bill Barr's review

There's new information:

Former FBI Director James Comey included a slew of sensitive and classified information in a series of comprehensive personal memos -- including not only the details of his conversations with President Trump, but also the "code name and true identity" of a confidential source, according to a court-ordered filing by the Justice Department late Monday.

Comey memos contained far more sensitive info than previously known, FBI filing reveals | Fox News

You have anything other than a far right propaganda network?

He tried, but obviously, he ****ed the dog.

ahahaha, if only you knew how stupid that sounded you wouldn't have said it.

Communication with the President is privilege for a good reason. The President needs to be able to operate without having to worry about it leaking all over.

Trump was asking Comey to commit felonies as I understand it. Comey memorialized to shield his own legal exposure. Obviously, what your saying is correct. The President should be able to trust his cabinet, etc. But, the President should also refrain from asking them to obstruct justice.

Nice dodge:

Of the seven memos, four now bear classification markings: two are marked "confidential" — the lowest classification level — and two are marked "secret." A Washington Post analysis noted the classification appears to have been made by a top official in the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division, though it’s not clear when

But one source familiar with the matter told the Journal that inspector general for the Department of Justice, Michael Horowitz, is investigating classification issues related to at least two of Comey's memos.

Nice dodge:

Looks you have nothing to show Comey leaked classified information.

Rather you have the shocking revelation that some of Comey's memos contained classified information.

Ignore the facts all you want, but it doesn't make right.

I find the fact that folks like yourself hate James Comey not right.

Comey himself, under sworn in testimony to Congress, said that Trump didn't obstruct anything.

Telling a FBI director to let Flynn go and then firing him when he didn't is obstruction

Again...Comey himself said, in testimony to Congress, that it wasn't obstruction.

Then why memorialize it and leak it to the press?

*shrug*...not sure. All I know is that he said, in testimony to Congress, that it wasn't obstruction.

Interfering with a DoJ investigation in order to prevent a prosecution is obstruction though.

Tonight the Washington rumors from their "sources" are

Horowitz's investigation is completed and that it is damning and there are referrals for prosecution.

1. Atty Durham picked to investigate intel agencies and the origins of the Russia probe is working with Horowitz and directors of multiple intel agencies and has been doing so for at least the past 2 months. He has already convened a grand jury.

2. Atty Huber's investigation that was tied to Horowitz is coming to completion and the report will be released shortly after Horowitz.

3. Lindsey Graham stated he will not pursue an investigation in the Judiciary committee because he doesn't want it to get in the way of AG Barr and Atty John Durham.

So the only real investigation in full throttle is Atty John Durham.

This tells me that what Horowitz uncovered was so bad that Barr needed to tap John Durham to follow through investigating and prosecuting the criminal wrongdoing Horowitz found involving the DOJ and FBI and go to places in government like the CIA, DNI, State Dept etc that his investigation uncovered questionable behavior in other agencies/departments but did not have jurisdiction to pursue.

I have no idea what Horowitz found on Comey but I think in a couple of weeks the :hitsfan: and it will be just the beginning.

Ah...so was Comey not being truthful in his testimony to Congress or is the former director of the FBI too dumb or incompetent to know what is or isn't obstruction. Which one you choosing?

Neither, asking someone to commit obstruction is still illegal, even if no obstruction occurred yet. Planning a murder is as illegal as murdering someone.

Umm...no. You don't get to twist this around. If Comey thought it amounted to obstruction he would've said so. He said it wasn't, so it wasn't. There's no way around that.

There was an ongoing investigation at that time, that concluded that Trump was not-not guilty, lol.

He certainly caused some damage in announcing just ten days before an election that a frivolous investigation into a Democrat candidate was being renewed (after, what was it? SEVEN congressional investigations).

Are you sure he intentionally murdered the FBI's reputation by doing that?

Remember: the guy you pretend wanted to help Obama get Trump helped Trump get elected (just like the man allegedly framing Trump...didn't). Several point swing in the last week, thanks to his decision to announce.

I think you should read the article then make your own argument.

We're specifically talking about Trump's interactions with Comey, the Special Counsel covered numerous things. You also don't get to conflate other things with this subject.

One more thing...

I hope he throws as many leftists in jail as possible.
