Is Kamala Harris on the way out?

Is Kamala Harris on the way out?

  • Yes she's headed for the door

  • No she's an asset to the campaign

  • She's going to resign and run against Joe

  • She's not going anywhere this is a right wing conspiracy

  • Who is Kamala Harris?

  • I hope she goes but sadly she stays

Results are only viewable after voting.
She's not my favorite, but the ticket did win so I don't know by what measure you would think that to be an unsuccessful campaign.
The ticket won because of a braying donkey on the lose, not because the VP candidate is a woman of color.
Aside from that, I'll wait and see who will announce what. IF Trump runs and wins the nomination, which I very much doubt, I'll be voting for whomever the Ds have to offer. I can live with 4 more years of Pappy Joe/...

I think she stays. She was selected because she's a black female and that remains true. If Biden did drop her he would have to tap another black female. A white male or female would be disastrous. Even Hunter would call him a racist. Susan Rice would be the rational choice. She has more gravitas in her pinky than Harris does in her whole body. He should have picked her to begin with.
Trumpists seem uniquely aware of and angered by the fact that a black female got farther in life than they'll ever get.
They said the exact same thing about Obama. Apparently black people only get elected cause they're black.

Not only that, but teaching about Obama will probably be considered CRT soon.

She is not going anywhere. I think in 6 to 9 months, Biden will pull an LBJ and announce he will not seek re-election. At that point the campaign will start with all potential candidates running. Harris will have no specific edge over anyone else.
It looks like he is planning to announce shortly after the state of the union speech. Possibly to the chagrin of fellow democrats. If he doesn't announce in three weeks than you're probably right. He should make such an announcement. He's in no shape to be president another four years.

I think she is headed for the door. I have been extremely disappointed that President Biden has so terribly underutilized Kamala so far in his administration. I feel she very well may jump into the race again for the Presidency in 2024 or at the very least tell Joe, if he actually runs again, goodbye.

But of course, on the morbid side of my twisted mind, she might just bide her time with Joe, and decide, if he looks to be a winner, then stay and see if he can last another 4?
is this joe hiding her from the public

or is comma-la content, enjoying 4 years of being the first black female VP

she does not seem to have taken on any high profile assignments which could showcase her talents

I am not impressed with her. I think she consistently comes across as fake. I don't think she is good at her job, and she had a lot of staff turnover, which is bad sign as well. However, I don't think she is going anywhere.

this is a dumb poll.

I think at this point they despise each other. Harris never wanted to be appointed the border czar. There was no way anything good could come out of that her policy and Biden's is to let as many as possible come over as possible. It was never a real problem to begin with. That's why its worse now than ever.
this is a dumb poll.
And yet you respond anyway.

The bolded part is an outright lie.

Just stop.

If she were to not be the running mate again, it would have to be on her own terms. Bad optics for Joe if she doesn't rather publicly go after some other opportunity that she tells everyone she prefers.

If its not apparent to you nothing I say will change your mind.
It's not even close to apperant.

Pence enabled the worst president in American History.

Right so your mind is made up and nothing I could say would ever change that.
yeah, to let you know it's a dumb poll
Its pretty good when people who think its dumb respond.

Makes up for the organic delight looney lefties get when ever Biden plays the black and female card on his appointees.

She's fine. There's no reason whatsoever to drop her from the ticket. She isn't harming the administration, isn't creating any drama or scandals, and is capable of assuming the presidency if the need arises. That's all you can really ask from a VP.
No. Harris did nothing wrong but have some crappy polling numbers reflecting a negative image. Here's the political problem. We Dems have two candidates tethered together, neither of which are inflaming the passions and imaginations of the voters and both are well under water in polling. For whatever reason, the Biden administration is just not seeing their policy victories and successes, reflected in positive voter approval ratings. Its going to be hard to engender new life and excitement into a Biden second term political campaign that can translate into high turnout in November, with these same two candidates. The same is true for Trump.

The party that can somehow ditch their 'old team' with all that political baggage, appears more likely to be the ones that win the White House than the party that keeps theirs . We know that the GOP will at least not have Trump pared with Pence, so they will have at least one new face, maybe two if DeSantis or Haley win. I cannot imagine how we create new excitement and buzz for 2024, with a Biden/ Harris ticket.

If Biden were to drop her from the 2024 ticket a lot of black voters would stay home, dooming his chances to win.
I'm not sure about that. I doubt he'd just drop her, anyway. Probably she'd be offered a prestige cabinet position like AG or State.

I'm not sure why she'd go anywhere. Yeah, she's kind of a non-entity as VP but that's no reason to get rid of her.
