Iran says it launched attack on US forces at Qatar’s Al Udeid Air Base

I mean, it's just one wave. We have no idea how deep and long this will go.
It appears to be a coordinated attack. Reports are that Qatar offered Iran to attack its territory and coordinate it with the US so there will be no casualties.
Just like after Qassem Soleimani was eliminated. The US can now ignore this, Iran's nuclear facilities were destroyed. A good outcome.

Who said anything about not accepting? You dont even this contrarian thing for odd reasons. At any point did that poster deny trump won?
The Democratic members of Congress who are most critical of former President Donald Trump’s refusal to concede the 2020 presidential election are already laying the groundwork to oppose the certification of a Trump victory just weeks before Election Day.

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) is the most notable of these would-be Democratic election deniers. In a recent report from Axios, Raskin refused to commit to supporting the certification of the presidential election when Congress meets on Jan. 6, 2025, to count the electoral votes if Trump is the winner. And there are more, of course.

Right, a moderately successful criminal prosecutor with no notable drama or scandals VS a guy who was found guilty of stealing millions from a children's cancer charity and agreed that his daughter "is a piece of ass"

Real tough choice.
I made no determination on the choice presented and that continues to be a BIG problem with the Democrats thinking prior, and still today. You all think that people that chose otherwise, are stupid. In fact, those who voted for Democrats in other years, you expected them to stay with you no matter who you put forth. They didn't. It is time for self reflection.

I merely commented on the candidate, as a stand alone. I didn't vote for either one, and would have, had either candidate been moderately good in my eyes.

Great. I disagree. I wonder which one of us has data from all of American history to back their argument.
Did you even read the quoted information? Let me post it again, and please specifically try to explain why it is wrong:

"His (Obama's) election triumph is 2008 was also misinterpreted as an act of national atonement for the original sin of slavery and the stain of segregation.
Yet Obama did not win the election because he was a black man. It was primarily because a country facing an economic crisis and embroiled in two unpopular wars was crying out for change."

It's the very expensive military version of this:

Yeah, they had done everything to tell Qatar it was coming, keep it isolated to near the base, and to use the same number of missiles we used on them.

We'll see how Trump responds to this. It may not be that bad, it's a poor show on Iran but it seems like this attack was just for show.

Democrats conceded the next day and there was no riot. You can challenge an election through the courts, that is done all the time but when the courts say its legit thats time to stop. Where did that poster deny the election?

Anyone who would vote for an individual who was found guilty of stealing money from a children’s cancer charity, sexual assault, referred to his daughter as “a piece of ass”, bankrupted numerous businesses, cheated his way into college. cheated on all of his wives and was found guilty of felony business tax fraud is either stupid and/or morally bankrupt.

Apparently Trump realized that he can destroy Iran's nuclear aspirations and not end up in a prolonged war with Iran involving boots on the ground and whatever.
Who knew.

He didn't win specifically due to being black but of course that played a role as he seemed to be a historic candidate. But it's racist white folks who have been insisting that his election "proves" we're no longer a racist country. This is going to be yet another exchange where you're going to tell me you believe racism exists as a concept but it's just not a big deal anymore?

They were aiming at the base more than likely.

Qatar country land

not USA land

Iran bombed a country with USA stuff there yes .... but they attacked Qatar countryland

Half black half white. Just saying.

The US bombed Libya multiple times in the past then.

Nvm that they were targeting ISIL, it was Libyan land.

Iran’s Supreme National Security Council in a statement said: “The base targeted by Iran’s powerful forces was also a significant distance from urban facilities and residential areas in Qatar.”

That's funny - powerful forces !!

It added: “This action posed no danger to our friendly and brotherly nation of Qatar and its honorable people. The Islamic Republic of Iran remains committed to preserving and continuing its warm and historic relations with Qatar.”

good - they got their revenge !! saved face

now, lets try and find a peace deal here
I am sure Trump will be every bit as successful as he was with the Ukraine/Russia thing.

The Doolittle Raid did some damage. It was more for morale (increase ours & crater theirs) then anything.

This little thing from Iran was like a mouse trying to scare a tiger.
Strategically for sure but as a save face psycho drama display for Iranians who still support the Ayatollah it was important. Hopefully as unstable as Trump is he will surprise everyone and go play golf.

Now for some humour.

Sorry to disappoint you, there will be no exchange where I am going to tell you I believe racism exists as a concept, but it's just not a big deal anymore. My .02 says the best candidate won, twice.
