what book would you buy right now?

I am kind of torn with this question, there are so many I want to read right now. I'm going to refrain from mentioning any of the many political books I've been eye balling.

I'm going to have to go with Catch 22 by Joseph Heller and/or Slaughter house five by Kurt Vonnegut. I've also been looking at War of Nerves: Chemical Warfare from World War I to Al-Qaeda by Jonathan Tucker.

well, since you asked, and I happen to have no idea what the heck you're looking for other than what you mentioned ... honestly I'd spend it on this:

I'm sure you could find the Heller and Vonnegut for a few dollars each.

I'd head to the mystery, sci-fi, or travel aisles at Borders, wind up with an armload, remember I only had $25, sit down and read for a couple hours, then leave with the best one.

I thought catch-22 was absolute ****, but I'm currently reading an amazing book that is supposedly a modern version of catch-22 set in an office.
