If I was a Republican I'd be proud of Jackson hearing

I am very proud of the conduct of the Republicans and the differences between what we've seen, with Kavanaugh and even Barrett, are profound. I think that was their plan and good for them for sticking to it.
I'm also glad to see some tough questions being posed on her judicial stance and previous rulings. I hoped they wouldn't just completely blow off taking it seriously and doing their job. They certainly haven't.
Kudos to them!!!!!

It may take decades for any Republican to conjure anything resembling pride after the years of fealty to one con man over party and country. You have to actually stand for something to feel any pride; Republicans have chosen one incompetent disgraced loser over all else. Brown Jackson doesn't have accusations of sexual assault hanging over her confirmation. And don't get me started on some of the ridiculous questions Trumpublicans managed to grunt out at the hearing. :rolleyes:

Purveryors of media depicting child pornography ARE OFFENDERS of the laws governing that sort of activity. In order to SELL media of that sort you must obtain it or create it.

"Sen. Graham asked Jackson what religion she practices and she answered, protestant ... but was clearly uncomfortable. Nonetheless, the senator persisted and asked, "On a scale of 1 to 10, how faithful would you say you are?"

I mean granted, this was more self-owning by Lindsey than any kind of disrespect toward Ketanji-Brown.

He was being a drinkin asshole who was terrorizing a young girl with realizing it.
It could not have been more plain or obvious... to the reasoned mind.

No, not quite right. Biden voted for him and kept witnesses from testifying for Hill. The Senate, both Repubs and Dems joined in trying to destroy Hill, not Thomas.
