I was shocked

You are trying desperately to spread your fear to me.

I'm not worried about having to go to the hospital. Even if I was sick with covid for a second time the chances of that happening are extremely remote.
So, this 'conspiracy theory'. How exactly is it manifested? You really don't know, do you. You're just getting cross because I'm pointing out how dangerous being dismissive can be. You are no doubt aware that even vaccinated people have died after becoming re-infected-or maybe you aren't.

I wonder how many of those thought they were safe.

Like I said; it's easy for someone to sit in judgement of others.
Well it's not really a judgement. It's the reality.

You better pray you don't end up like they do-nobody is more than a couple of weeks' missed mortgage payments away from homelessness.
I won't. I built savings where I can go six months without a job. I did that because I aquired skills. If I can do it anybody can. This isn't judgment it's encouragement.

I already had covid I didn't go to the hospital I didn't die.

I already know better than you.

And no, not "everybody can". That's your conservative 'American Dream'. We, on the other hand, are awake.

Yeah, and the vast majority of spontaneous miscarriages happen before women even know they are pregnant and/or in the first trimester.

Some of the claims floating around involved miscarriages late in the 2nd and/or in the 3rd trimester where miscarriages are not very typical.
Those wouldn't be miscarriages. Those would be still births. There is a difference.

Miscarriages only happen prior to 20 weeks of pregnancy.

Some may be spreading these false claims.

Should you believe random people on facebook and other social media sites or actual obstetricians?

We do know though that there have been several cases where pregnant women have contracted Covid and had to deliver their baby way too soon for it to have a real chance at survival. That seems like a much worse thing than believing some rumor about the Covid vaccine on facebook or twitter.

I said earlier I’m past my child bearing age. So not me.

Several friends that have been pregnant.

Do I blame them? Absolutely not.

They most likely are not actually listening to their doctor if they are not getting vaccinated because the risk to their unborn child is much higher if they get Covid than from getting the vaccine.

They are believing social media rumors over actual doctor advice. This is like believing those ads that said smoking was good for your baby. Should anyone be considered "reasonable" for believing social media telling them that HIV doesn't cause AIDS or that they can't pass HIV on to their children through breast milk? There are even some doctors who make these claims, wrongly.

So if their doctors (should be their certified doctor though) are advising not to get the vaccine (which is wrong, and against research, but still would be doctor's advice) then they shouldn't be blamed. But I doubt that is the case for most of these women.

I wasn’t at their doctor appointments, so I can’t speak for them.

There are 3 incredibly adorable, healthy babies that I’ve had the joy of cuddling and squishing chubby thighs of.

And three happy families.

So I’d say they made the right choice.

Because it fits with your beliefs, not because it was the lower risk. Those babies would be the same had their mothers had the vaccine almost certainly.

Key words being “almost certainly”

Key words being “almost certainly”
The same as if they would have gotten Covid. That was a possibility too which they took an even bigger risk for. I use "almost certainly" because we cannot know if other circumstances could have existed had they been vaccinated, which would have most likely been the recommendations of their doctors (assuming that they all were even able to be vaccinated before having their child). For all we know, they could have been in a car accident had they went to be vaccinated. Or they could have caused themselves unnecessary stress or anxiety leading to problems. They could have encountered someone with Covid and contracted Covid when they went for their vaccine.

This is like saying "well I didn't wear my seatbelt and I have never been hurt in a car crash". Then when you ask if they were in a car crash, they say "well no". Circumstances, context matters. If a baby is born to a woman who smokes, but the baby is healthy, does that mean that she made the right choice to smoke while pregnant?

I'm willing to bet that the vast majority of women who have had healthy, cuddly babies born in the last few months have been vaccinated.

You simply have no evidence of any actual real increased risk to the pregnancy, mother or baby from getting the vaccine.

Don't try fear mongering. You made it political by lying to me.

I'm just glad I know better.
I’m not fear mongering. I’m pointing out the error of your thinking. If there weren’t people like you this pandemic would have been over a year ago. You would prefer to be right than happy. It’s too bad there’s not a vaccine for selfishness.

I didn’t make it political. I was shocked how ignorant people’s response to this pandemic has been.

They are still gathering data. It’s likely that those 60 and older or those with health issues will need a fourth shot.
Kind of odd to be championing a 'vaccine'/not a vaccine when you literally have no idea if or for how long it will be effective...huh?

And BTW...they have a good idea...
"In humans who received two doses of AstraZeneca vaccine and a booster dose of Moderna or Pfizer vaccines, the effectiveness in symptom prevention was 60% two to four weeks after injection. However, after 10 weeks, the booster dose of Pfizer was only 35% effective. Moderna booster dose is 45% effective for up to 9 weeks.
For people who received three doses of the Pfizer vaccine, the effectiveness decreased from 70% to 45% in 10 weeks. People who injected two doses of Pfizer and a booster dose of Moderna had better results. The vaccine still provides up to 75% protection for up to 9 weeks."

Up to 10 weeks. You are going to need 6 boosters a year, to fight off the impact of a virus that by all indications gives you the sniffles.

Oh wow. I honestly had no idea the effectiveness waned that quickly!

Most dont...and since none of this has been tested properly they really have no idea.

I was just curious if that ruined your day. I work with a couple Qanoners who hate Trump now.

Trump doesnt play into discussions about the research of scientists, doctors, virologists, and immunologists. But I get it. You are kind of reduced to embarassing ploys when you run out of Dr Fauci's talking points.

Over 800,000 US total covid deaths, over 1300 covid deaths per day, over 80% of ICU beds are occupied by the unvaxed.....no, this isn't the "sniffles".

My employee's obstetrician told her to hold off on the vaccination.
