I was shocked

Whether you like it or not there is something different about this virus than others that are not as deadly. It has effected the whole world. You all got this one wrong. Even Trump is coming around. You don’t have to fight against everything . You don’t need to make everything political.
Don't try fear mongering. You made it political by lying to me.

I'm just glad I know better.

I wonder how many of the 5+millions of dead people had the same dismissive and arrogant mindset as you. Sadly they can't tell us.

Hi, Snakestretcher!

Here are 5 whose comments are well-documented:

Mr. Marc Bernier, Mr. Caleb Wallace, Mr. Dick Farrel, Mr. Robert Enyart and Mr. Philip Valentine. They have a profession in common.

Regards, stay safe 'n well.

How come you don't have conservatives working for you instead of poc young liberal nerds since most everyone you know and are friends with are conservatives? They don't like the pay? I presume next you will be telling us you pay those poc very well with excellent benefits to boot?

The area where I work only 27% voted for Trump. I'd say my workforce is reflective of that

Right they pay the least they can to keep their workers. If they keep them than it's clearly enough.
"Enough" for whom? There are people holding down jobs while living in their cars because their meagre 'earnings' won't allow them the privilege of renting anything. Are they earning enough?

Must be those good jobs in blue cities? You know all the shitholes dems control across america.

Awesome; you're immune for life now, and no Coronavirus can touch you! You clearly know very little-and perhaps you could tell the doctors and nurses in your local hospital that their 'costumes' are stupid. I'm sure your comment would attract all the sympathy it deserves from them.
I'm not sure about immune for life but I already had covid so it's not going to kill me probably not going to harm me in any way.

I wouldn't need the till doctors and nurses that costumes are stupid they already know they are.

You can attack me all you want. I'm not sorry. I won't be and I already had covid so I'm not scared either.
Ok. Nobody is attacking you; merely pointing out that dismissing a potentially deadly virus because you think you're safe is wildly optimistic. You need to wake up mate-and quit attacking the doctors who will be saving your life should you get sick again; and with your attitude you likely will.

For the people who don't quit. If they weren't learning enough they would earn more but either gaining more skills taking on more risk or working more hours.

If they're not paid enough they can quit go find another job that pays better I've done that multiple times.
And what if there are no jobs in their area and they don't have the resources to travel somewhere else-maybe they also have a family to support. Ever consider that? It's easy for someone used to a comfortable, middle-class lifestyle to smugly provide their 'solution'.

You never were hungry, jobless and homeless were you. I guess it must be the lack of 'personal responsibility' and making 'poor life choices' which drove them to that, right?

The company I run mostly has state govt contracts but we just got a federal govt contract. With one of the stipulations being that anyone working on the project has to be fully vaccinated because of the federal mandate. So I think, no big deal. I'm vaccinated, most of my friends and family are conservative and they are vaccinated. Most of my staff are POCs and young liberal nerd types, I bet they are vaccinated. When HR gave me the clearance list almost no one is vaccinated.

So who really are the unvaccinated? I don't think the media narrative of middle aged and older Trumpers being the main vaccinated is the real story. It seems that liberals in red areas are nearly as hesitant to get the vaccine. I'm just still in shock of how few of the group are vaccinated.
If you take New York (it was a random but obvious blue state pick) and cross vaccination rates with counties that went to Trump, the least vaccinated counties went to trump.

While I’m sure that political lean isn’t the only factor, political lean is definitely at the head of the line.

Or they haven't provided that info yet.

I work for a government contractor, required to show vaccination status by 2 months ago. There have been few unexpected losses in our staffing despite deadlines for getting that info in sometime in Oct.

you are acting like Chicken Little I am immune to your hysteria because I've been inoculated with truth.

Sell your nutty conspiracy theory to someone who will buy it

I don't wake up to to paranoia.

Hilarious; and what exactly is this alleged "nutty conspiracy theory" I'm apparently selling? Any idea?

There were tons of claims about vaccines causing miscarriages on social media.

I know at least 2 of them won’t run the risk.

I’m not having any more children, so it wasn’t a concern of mine.
And many people fail to understand that about 30% of pregnancies end in miscarriages. You would need to show that the miscarry rate is higher than the general population in those who are vaccinated.

There's no area where they don't have any jobs if there are you need to get out of that area you can't afford to stay there. if you have a family to support find a job that pays better and you can support them better.

This wasn't easy for me I have to earn my way into barely a middle class lifestyle if I can do it anyone can. Excuses are like assholes.

You are making assumptions about the political allegiances of others; "liberal nerd types". That isn't helpful.
Pretty much. I work in IT, so you would think "liberal nerd types". Pretty sure we have a number of conservatives, including my own husband, working that career. My husband got vaccinated because of the mandate.

You are trying desperately to spread your fear to me.

I'm not worried about having to go to the hospital. Even if I was sick with covid for a second time the chances of that happening are extremely remote.

Like I said; it's easy for someone to sit in judgement of others. You better pray you don't end up like they do-nobody is more than a couple of weeks' missed mortgage payments away from homelessness.

Well I've been jobless before but I went out and got another one. You can do that if you develop skills.

if you don't develop skills that are marketable that's a pretty poor life decision as you point out.

That's true a young trans man with blue hair that wears an anime shirt to work every day could totally be a Trumper. I just wouldn't bet on it.
Yes, actually he could be.

Or he could be vaccinated and just hasn't shown his card yet.

Or he could be a "wellness" person who believes vaccines cause autism or other such nonsense.

He could be a conspiracy theorist.

My transgender sister was hesitant about the vaccines because her and my mother and much of that family believes multiple conspiracy theories.

Yeah, and the vast majority of spontaneous miscarriages happen before women even know they are pregnant and/or in the first trimester.

Some of the claims floating around involved miscarriages late in the 2nd and/or in the 3rd trimester where miscarriages are not very typical.
