I sure am glad only Republicans use awful "scare tactics."

Speaks for itself.

Don't know whoever said only Republicans use scare tactics. Even Obama used scare tactics with the Bailout money. I don't agree with people using them no matter who they are.

It's been said around here numerous times.

It's not even close. While an occasional Dem might do it, the GOP builds their entire anti-Obama campaign around it & was one of the main reasons why they (GOP) lost all power & lost their Minn. Senate seat to a Dem.......COMEDIAN!

It's been said around here numerous times.

Then it shouldn't be too hard to show a link to the comments stating that ONLY Republicans use scare tactics.

Of course there are those on the right and left that say their side uses less, but I have yet to see someone say ONLY the Republicans use scare tactics.

I'm not going to deny Ed Shultz appears to be out of line there, but could you maybe post more than a 14 second clip? Was what he was saying possibly taken out of context?

:lol: Absolutely laughable. Man you libs are predictable.....

One want's a wild goose chase to prove what they have said for the past eight years as though no one can remember. And another is claiming 'out of context' tripe....

Ed Schultz is a tool. He is an opportunist that when he thought he could fake it as a conservative talk show host he did that, only to be revealed for the lying scum bag that he is. So what was his refuge? Air America.....I am shocked.
:rofl

So you think a 14 second clip is enough to put that rant into full context? Are all 14 second clips enough to find guilt in your opinion, or just this one? Please show where in my post I am actually defending Ed Schultz. I was unaware the asking for more evidence than 14 seconds is actually a bad thing.

Didn't say that did I? Hmmm....maybe context is a problem of yours not mine?

In any case 14 seconds seems to be all that lib groups like the atrocious Media Matters needs to smear Limbaugh, Beck, and Hannity? But that is fine right?

have you ever listened to Schultz on radio, or watched his show on MSLSD? he is a nutjob!

That is only half of what your post was now isn't it? You ended it up with the overused and obligatory "out of context" tripe that libs use when ever they are caught in their own lies and distortions.

Most of the GOP scare tactics are decaying/putrefying residue left from the Karl Rove School of dirty..."Slash & Burn" politics that sent this country spiraling down into the hole we find ourselves in now. Thankfully, the American voter caught on to this in 2006 & we have been rejecting these tactics since then.
So what does the GOP decide?....They decide they need to get even nastier & lurch even further to the radical right....... as they watch voters disappear down the middle of the road.:2wave:

What are like 5 years old or something? I asked for more than a 14 second clip. You dismiss it as "tripe." And then come back with this B.S. of "Didn't say that did I?" Yes, you did say that when you dismissed it as tripe. Either you can provide more than 14 seconds of the clip, to allow proper context, or you can't.

More partisan hackery here. I'm not "Media Matters" either address my post, or take your issue up with "Media Matters." Can you point to where I have ever used a 14 second clip to "smear" anyone? No, you can't, because regardless of Lib or Con, 14 seconds of a clip doesn't prove jack ****.

have you ever listened to Schultz on radio, or watched his show on MSLSD? he is a nutjob!

Well there you have it folks. Because j-mac acts like a whiny (*****), and calls him a nutjob, it must be true. Your opinion doesn't lend any credibility to your argument.

Oh, cry me a ****ing river. Grow up !!! Libs and Cons both are taken out of context every day, both sides use this tactic. It's B.S. when either side does so. So again, can you provide more than the 14 seconds posted in the OP or not? Maybe you missed the part of my post where I said, "I'm not going to deny Ed Schultz appears to be out of line there," as I rushed to his defense. If he was, as he appears to be, out of line, I would certainly call him on it. I have no allegiance to Ed Schultz.

Have you seen the person occupying Rove's office in the WH these days? Rham Emanuel is among the dirtiest political thugs to have ever graced DC. He is a slash and burn type of progressive that uses near mafia tactics to get what he wants. But it's all Bush's fault and that evil Rove eh?

Yes, I know....We should all just become liberals, then everything would just be mana from heaven, is that right?

Get outta here with that crap!

It's funny that Devil505 thanked you on this post; he's one of the biggest offenders when it comes to this.

So name calling and feigned outrage is all you got? And that only took several postings? ..... Get some help man....And not the cheep stuff either, I'd say we're looking at $150. an hour.....:2wave:

So you're unable or unwilling to provide more than a 14 second clip. Cool, you're dismissed.

Thank you Harshaw.

Yup, Ed Schultz is definitely resorting to B.S. scare tactics instead of addressing the issue in a civil manner. He's an ass for being partisan, and with his B.S. fear mongering. He needs to learn how to get his point across without saying **** like "the republicans want to see you dead". Nobody truly believes that the republicans want to see anyone dead. The additional footage certainly doesn't change the context of his rant, and as a result his opinion should be dismissed as partisan hackery. In this instance, he disgraced himself, and the profession of journalism.

Well, I am not the one that posted it in the first place, so if you want that you should pay attention to the board, instead of going on a whining expedition against me. Btw, thanks to Harshaw, here www.debatepolitics.com/us-partisan-...use-awful-scare-tactics-2.html#post1058273697 it is.....Now go away.

j-mac

Whether or not you posted the OP is irrelevant. You addressed my post as "out of context tripe." I called you on it, and handed you your ass in a can. Now you go away.

No, you can believe you did that, but it is only in your minds eye that happened....And it was tripe. I'll tell you what, when you libs come up with a new tag to place on anything you'd wished you'd never said, then get back to me, but until then, every time I see "out of context" coming from a liberals mouth to explain away a totally outrageous comment made from one of their heros, all I can do is roll my eyes....

j-mac

But it's all Bush's fault and that evil Rove eh?
Pretty well sums it up for me...Yup.;)

Yes, I know....We should all just become liberals, then everything would just be mana from heaven, is that right?
I never said that but let's face it.....even moderate conservatives won't admit to being Republicans anymore. (they call themselves "Proud Conservatives" or "Libertarians", etc) Today's GOP represents elderly.... white... rural..... far-right..... evangelical.... angry white men ......& they are dying out every election cycle.(I'll bet YOU don't identify yourself as a Repub any more....but maybe you do)
