I have known people who claim to have been marxist, or leninist or communist online both American and European. They are actually fascinating posters, normally very good advocates, and one can learn a lot from their perspective. Every forum should have a few, in addition to a self described anarchist and fascist or two. But these marxist/communists have almost nothing in common with most socialist progressives or liberals here.

People claim lots of stuff on the internet. If you have something that makes me challenge my own beliefs, I don't care what party you claim to be you've done an excellent piece of debate.
