I've pointed this out many times over the last 4 years, starting back in 2016 during the primary processes.
It's why when Trump got elected while the Senate and House were both Republican controlled, he couldn't get much done. The Old Guard Republican's didn't like him. IMO if it weren't for the tea party members in the House he wouldn't have even got his tax cut passed.
I voted for him for two reasons.
First because I researched each claim of "campaign misconduct" (reviewed the video/audio) and found most were lies/misrepresentations by the MSM. IMO when the MSM pushes lies like those so forcefully to oppose an election, then that's the person who NEEDED to be elected. Meanwhile, IMO Trump is not a racist.
Second, because I saw him as the "maverick" candidate I felt we've needed to shake, rattle, and roll the Two-Party Establishment our nation has turned into. Bull-in-the-China Shop who'd tear things down and knock them around, to get real things done.
IMO he's met my expectations faults and all.
My thoughts and thought process almost exactly!
