Hillary is using her fake accents again...

Do you talk with a Boston accent to people from Boston? How do you believe it makes you a more effective communicator to switch to a fake accent when talking to someone else?

I talk with a southern accent to southerners, learned to say "soda" instead of "pop" and stuff. It is called communication. What you are doing is called "grasping at straws".

I slip back into my Texas drawl when I travel back home. It is actually an interesting phenomenon.

I agree with that. After 48 hours in southern Indiana I sound like Larry Bird. That is not, however, what we're hearing from Hillary.

Is saying soda an example of being an effective communicator?

It is more effective than the word I used growing up In Texas: Coke.

Waitress: What can I get you to drink darlin'?
Texan: Coke.
Waitress: What kind?
Texan: Pepsi.

He sounds like many Americans. Your view of "semi literate" is your own.

There are many Americans I would not want to see in the WhiteHouse.

Come to think of it, Bush was one of them back in '00.

When he invaded Iraq, I was almost certain I was right.
When he put the cost of the war on the national MasterCard, I knew for sure I was right.

But, this thread is about Hillary. I'm afraid I've been getting it off the subject.

You are free to make the connections you think are important. Compared to Gore, GWB was by light years the better choice. All US wars have been funded by deficit financing; there's nothing new there. Hillary is a fraud.

I'm glad to see this hag show even more evidence of what a damned phony she is. Pretending to be something you are not strikes me as not a very smart strategy for a candidate whose sincerity and honesty a large part of potential voters already doubt. Franklin Roosevelt had the right idea. He knew everyone in the country was aware he was from a prominent New York family, so he just spoke and acted like the patrician he was. And no one seemed to have held it against him. Same with President Kennedy. Most Americans don't want their president to try to make himself sound like them when they know full well he's not. It's condescending. The guy carrying his lunchbox to the factory in Tennessee or Texas didn't need FDR to talk the same way he did to admire him--almost certainly admired him more because he didn't try.

There still are a lot of Americans I don't want to see in the Whitehouse, and Hillary is one of them.

Realistically, one of them is likely to wind up in the WhiteHouse in 2016. Not much I can do about that.

If it's Hillary, at least she seems to be able to control her accent. She also doesn't sound like a semi literate. That is at least something.

But, I still don't want to see her as POTUS. Let's hope her presidency, if there is one, doesn't turn out to be as big of a disaster as GWB's was.

Fair enough. I thought GWB sounded just fine.

Having been there in person I have no need of videos.

Surely you found the stark difference between his earlier mannerisms and those of his presidency to be interesting.

You can just smell the desperation. OH NOZ, she is communicating!

Yep. She is. She's communicating that she's a fraud unless you count the mindless folks that believe that ****. What are there? Two of them? Okay, I'll give you that the democrats are probably full of them, but I mean, outside of that mindless contingent, who believes her schtick?

i've seen that before. It is feckin disgusting. Hillary thinking she's playing to the white corn pone and the black voters. How much more insulting can it be? Maybe she could do a few hee haw and step'n'fetchit jokes.

The liberals love fraud, it's part of their Symbolism over Substance politics.

The hilarious obsession with the TINIEST, MOST UTTERLY IRRELEVANT things hillary does is hysterical. It's relevant if you're a right winger who watches fox news though.

Fox News had nothing to do with this thread.

Exactly. I can see her having that put on her campaign posters in the South. "Vote for Hillary. BR-549"; a secret redneck code.

It won't surprise me at all if at some point she tells a white crowd of Southerners that she has always looked up to Junior Samples.

Junior was from Cumming, Georgia. He was the real deal. Years ago he went to the local jail drunk and armed with a shotgun to get his son out. Hillary would no doubt be proud to have been associated with Junior.

Changing how she says things, depending on the audience, is less concerning than changing what she says, depending on the audience. ;)

Reminds me of racists that start talking in ebonics around black people.........then adding, "I have a black friend". . .

Im sure this will help Hillary boost her "authenticity", and "honesty" polling numbers. What do you think?

I do not think any one cares, except maybe those desperate enough to cry about anything.
