Greater Sydney council bans ‘revealing swimwear’ sparking debate about double standards

Does anybody really object to a bit of skin on display ? They need to give their heads a wobble.

On a side issue I read the headline of this article and knew straight away it was about womens bodies. I just wonder when the anglophone world will actually grow up ?
 
Our private pool club here in NJ bans g-string bikini bottoms. It is part of their overall dress code and rules 🤷‍♀️

There are also rules about graphic language and images on shirts/clothes, rules that you cannot wear cut offs as swim trunks, rules that shoes must be worn in the bathrooms (amazing that one needed to be written down…to be honest). Rules about alcoholic beverages, smoking/vaping, rules about swim diapers and where children wearing them are/are not allowed, rules about excessive volume on radios, what kind of floats are allowed (and where), etc. Policies regarding guests and when you can/cannot have guests and how many. Overall it’s about 2 pages of rules.

Private club = their rules.

Sounds like they’ve made a similar ban at pool clubs there in Australia.

I get some models like to show the skin but why the average mom, sister, girlfriend or wife?

Having your ass hanging out in public IMO is unbecoming. Even for Melania or any other woman you want to justify.

They are municipal pools.

What's worse is a guy with a big gigantic beer gut hanging over his swim trunks.

It is... That's part of the decay within our society.

A woman knows a man will look and think of sexual things. There is no other explanation.

The last time we were in Majorca it was awful. Most of the men round the pool had bigger tits than my wife and there was no attempts to cover up.
This was in front of women and children.
Women would look at all that naked flesh and think sexual thoughts. That cant be right or proper.

I did a mass skinny dip with 1000 other people last year. Can't see a problem with a bit of flesh. It's not like they're going topless or nude at these pools.
