Great News for EU! US Threatens To Expand Sanctions On Nord Stream 2 As "russia" Moves To Complete

You're too easy Rostocker.

I gotta run.

Crank you up again later.

Not easy Tango, that your country is worn down is a fact. You spend no money on infrastructure. Your bridges and streets crumble. You have no highspeed trains. Your living standards are lower than in Western Europe.

I visited your country and it was below the standard i am used to.

And Litwin being his usual thoughtful self even provided a zine for you to leaf through or even read while you're sitting around looking and waiting for your pipeline to come along, which it ain't doing any more.

Smoke?

Im a fitness freak tangmo. I dont smoke. I dont want become fat, sick and cancerous like most americans.

So why is your country looking so patheticly outdated and broken Tangi? I mean i saw it...crumbling roads, no highspeed railways. pathetic internet connection on most places.

Your country looks old and worn down. Do you assume the future is to be a Nigeria with snow like USA?

As for electricity, it Was developed in Europe (Tesla) and the first electric city illumination was made in UK. Indoor toilets? We had those since roman times.

As usual we see the Rostocker version of history. Tesla learned his trade at an AMERICAN (Edison) electrical company stationed in Paris. His greatest accomplishments cane after he emigrated to AMERICA where he worked for Edison until going off on his own.

A Serbian American.

@ Litwin , Tangmo and Rostocker: so again only the infantile shouting about who has the biggest balls and polemic...

tell me when there is debate here again - have fun

You've still got your jacket on Rostocker.

As I said, take it off and stay a while.

Cause it'll be a long time coming before you see any more pipe.

Coffee?

Dude i forgot something! I had forgotten to put you on ignore ha ha. Silly me.

What's that under your skin?

Been there for some time now hasn't it?

You're biggest problem though is that it's always going to be there, no matter. Cause you Rostocker can't ever let go.

Coffee?

I dont drink coffee, but you know whats funny? They now ban american company Cisco from getting contracts in German networks and they say this might go EU wide. France follows a similar approach.

Looks like your LNG should be your smallest issue. Systematicly american companies are pushed out here, first defense and now that.

Start a thread on Cisco then.

Oh that's right, any time you start a thread you get shredded straight down onto the floor.

Covid 19 is killing corporate contracts too. Germany just decided not to buy 4 drones in favor of small aircraft modified for intelligence at half the cost to 'em. After all, German GDP is off just under 7% percent this year and won't look anything like its old self through next year too.

Your NS 2 Kaput main port of Sassnitz - Mukran - Kaput is starting to sink kaput with all the pipes collecting on your little island out there where all those employees who are unemployed due to US sanctions are doing the same as you are in Rostock, ie, sitting kaput and waiting to see.

That's Rugen island if I have that right where the Russian barge Fortuna quietly slipped away during the night some months ago and where the Russian Rustbucket Cherskiy pipe laying barge was declared completely unfit for the job. Hint: it took Cherskiy 3 months to get to Rugen from the Russian Far East. You can compare that to Columbus btw who got to America in 3 weeks.

I think too those 40 exploited laborers you brought in from Malaysia might have been sent home by now cause the Faehrhafen Sassnitz employer was known to be tiring of feeding 'em and putting 'em up plus pocket change. Lotsa lazy dayze on the hotel ship, for sure. Those are the guys you once called "anonymous" specialist workers who were going to save the day and that Sen. Ted Cruz was calling EU and German immigration and also labor authorities about.

Danish?

No employee is unemployed, business runs normal at Mukran. So far now not a single sanction is put on any german entity. You start talking bullshit buddy.

You would not dare to put sanctions on us, after all Germany is the 2nd biggest western economy and last timei checked we are allies at least still formal. All we have is a angry letter from 3 nobodies whose name i dont remember.

As for our GDP, its developing good.

You might just go ahead and get your own message app or sign up a carrier pigeon service cause I don't do deliveries.

Never have.

Trump has no sense of humor either btw.

No sense period.

Bad news for you Tangi. See exactly what i said happens. Vice Chancellor Scholz said today, that of course Nordstream II will be completed and that the poisoning of that russian idiot Nawalny plays no role in this.

So what i said: Merkel talks and talks and when enough water has run down the Elbe, nothing happenes.

We do better than you,

United States Government does not normally sanction governments and it would not consider sanctions against the Government of your Federal Republic and formal treaty ally in numerous instances, to include Nato. USA sanctions instead individuals in either the public or the private sector of the country, to include both as may apply.

While your Deutsche Bank is for instance one of the most corrupt banks of the world the US does not sanction it because DB wisely does comply fully with all legal requests of the US Government in matters of money laundering and dirty deeds and so on.

No US sanctions have been implemented against your NS 2 Kaput main port of Sassnitz - Mukran - Kaput on Rugen island in the Baltic and its government owned and operated public corporation Faehrhafen Sassnitz. This is because Faehrhafen is a part of the German government, to include state and federal.

The Cruz letter to Faehrhafen Sassnitz with two other US senators pointed out that any privately owned ships that are employed by Faehrhafen and that engage in pipeline activities will be sanctioned the moment any vessel places any pipe in the water of the Denmark EEZ for landfall in Germany.

Neither the Russian privately owned pipe laying barges Fortuna nor Cherskiy would go out to try to lay pipe for numerous reasons, to include insurance denied, but more than anything because Merkel wouldn't allow it. Merkel does not want the rats nest entanglement for her and Germany of privately owned (Russian) ships resuming pipe laying and getting sanctions while being employed by Faehrhafen and based on German soil, Rugen island. Subsequent to the US sanctions against foreign companies laying pipe and that stopped the pipe laying instantly, the Fortuna slipped out of Sassnitz quietly during the night and the Cherskiy has been declared completely unfit for the deep sea job.

The port of Sassnitz-Mukran-Kaput meanwhile has closed except to receive the pipe scheduled to be lain. It looks like there are a couple of new mountain on the little island as the pipe keeps piling up in a mass cause it doesn't go anywhere. Pipe comes in but doesn't go out. I'd be confident btw your 40 illegally smuggled and exploited laborers from Malaysia might be gone by now although I can't find anything on their status since the spring.

In being closed up except for NS 2, Sassnitz-Mukran-Kaput has taken on security dimensions that could make a lot of people think it's Peenemunde II. There are police there in extraordinary numbers that are everywhere on the little island while everybody has to show papers all the time wherever they go. Shores are being patrolled and people on the island don't talk any more -- and since so much is shut down they don't work any more either. Tough times, for sure.

You're still in Rostock though so I'd guess you're a cop who doesn't rate while an apparent national energy calamity is occurring due to this international fiasco by Germany and Russia. Methinks you're probably an observer cop of some kind, appointed to sit and wait and see cause that's what you keep saying to do. Well, anyway, it gets cold there this time of year doesn't it to include winter storm season in the Baltic. So go ahead and put your jacket back on if you like.

Some borscht maybe?

Indeed Germany appears to be highly unlikely to sanction the principals of the Russian Government concerning Your Guy Polonium Putin and the Navalny poisoning. Neither will your government be likely to sanction Nord Stream 2 about it.

Nor is Germany going to give up on trying to complete the pipeline even if it has to wait a period of time to try to resume construction. So the US is initiating a coalition of countries to prevent NS 2 and to prevent certification of NS 2 should the pipeline ever be completed in, say, 14 months or after 24 months when the final 99 miles of pipe might be attempted yet again.

BILD INTERVIEW WITH SECRETARY OF STATE MIKE POMPEO:

"The German government is so disappointing“

Pompeo: We are Building A Coalition Against Nord Stream 2

September 22, 2020

The United States is building a coalition aimed at preventing the completion of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline that will substantially increase the flow of Russian gas into Europe, the U.S. Secretary of State told German daily Bild in an interview. “From the US point of view, Nord Stream 2 endangers Europe because it makes it dependent on Russian gas and endangers Ukraine - which in my opinion worries many Germans,” Pompeo said. “We hope Nord Stream 2 will not be completed and we are working on a coalition to prevent this from happening. We hope that the German government will also come to this assessment, be it because of what happened to Mr. Navalny or because of the security implications that dependence on Russian gas brings."

The interview comes days after another report in German media said the German government had tried to appease Washington about Nord Stream by offering to build two liquefied natural gas import terminals worth $1.2 billion if the U.S. stopped opposing the pipeline. Germany will be the receiver of most of the gas that will flow through the expanded Nord Stream pipeline. The U.S., however, is against it, claiming it will only increase Russia’s influence in the energy supply of the EU, which would be unwise. Of course, there are also the U.S. gas interests as a major LNG exporter. The alleged poisoning of Putin critic Alexey Navalny recently raised the temperature of the issue, with critics of the Nord Stream project calling for the German government to punish Moscow by withdrawing its support for the infrastructure.

Merkel's offer of 1.2 bn euros by the German government for two US LNG terminals in Germany is empty given Germany has already begun development of three LNG terminals. In fact two terminals would be one fewer than Germans are currently working on.

The present 3 LNG terminals in the pipeline as it were are at the cities of Brunsbuette, Stade, Wilheimshaven on the Baltic at the border with Denmark. So Merkel's muddled offer means the federal government would take Stade and Wilheimshaven from private corporations for the government to finance while leaving the other to the private industrialists who are in fact the muscle of German energy policy. So the offer is a bunch of Malarkey by Merkel and the corporations that run German energy politics and economics. In short, blue smoke and mirrors.

This is a serious parting between the United States and Germany that would be difficult for a Potus Biden to paper over -- if Biden might be interested in a rapprochement, which Biden isn't because he's been against Nord Stream from the outset of it. Germany-Russia vs the United States are going head to head on this and we're going to knock your block off. Put that chip on Germany's shoulder back up where it belongs.

Will your coalition against NS II be bigger than your current antimiran coalition in the NSC which consists from USA and the Domenican Republic? :D

Pompeo: " The United States believes the Nord Stream 2 pipeline creates a risk for Europe by becoming dependent on gas that's coming out of Russia "

what a sentence...

imagine you read this:

"Europe believes that the energy politic of the US is destroying the earth and plans to gather a group of decent countries to prevent that by sanctions"

might you say "that´s not your buisness"?

and no, I´m no Putin fan - I hope we are completely on renewables asap

Its either gas or nuclear, since renewables dont provide constant power

If you do it clever, it will work. It´s all about storrage systems and there are a lot of ideas. And when we manage, the whole world will buy it and the old fashioned nuclear and fossil lobby will die out. And the countries who could not change their politics, too. Simply from economic reasons.

It cant work. Physics speak against it. Germany has a gargantuan demand for energy. You dont fullfill this with stoneage technology like windmills. When the demand is highest, the output is almost zero. There is barely any wind in the clodest winter nights. Wind energy cant be regulated and it also cant be powered up when needed. When there is no wind, there is no energy. So the french nuclear power plants are needed to hold it alive.

The whole world? Are we back at that? Today Germany and tomorrow the whole world...

So far nobody follows our retarded energy politics. The world builds hundreds of new nuclear power plants.

And Germany will build new nuclear power plants as well.

Germany has the highest energy prices in the world. And we have nothing in return, we have an instable energy net that is hold alive by France and Belgium.

There are no storage systems. I know the Greens think goblins transport the energy (the leader of the green party actually said that, that we need more Goblins).

sorry, with the new forum I don´t manage to quote anymore... "added to multiquote" and than nothing...

but you do factfree posting as usual...

and there are a lot of storage possibilities: water run Turbines ind old coal mines or from mountains, producing hydrogen when demand is low, more energie efficient hardware etc pp - educate yourself and don´t only quote factfree opinions

Tell us, how many storage has already been build?

I can answer: 0

How many gargantuan dams do you want build? You would need 8 Bodensee lakes to have enough storage capacity. Are you willing to destroy so much nature for this? Are you aware what massive damage such lakes create? Or do you not care as long it suits the agenda of the Green Khmer?

I can aswer this as well, so far 0 of such stirage dams have been build.

So my "factfree" opinion is based on the fact, that 0 storage has been build by now. And that zero dams will be build.

It is impossible in Germany to realize such gargantuan projects, simply because there are endless possibilities to stop such projects. My parents for example stopped 5 windmills to be constructed on a mountain nearby where we own land.
