From Hope to Hate

Trump’s interests do indeed focus on power and wealth, and he certainly has employed immigrants (including illegals) to clean his hotels and cut grass at Mar a Lago, and yes, he absolutely plays the role of carnival huckster to his base however, he has a long and well documented history of racist rhetoric/beliefs. That long held bigotry/xenophobia just adds to his joy of keeping “them” out of the United States.

Trump's views on immigration reflect most Americans views.

Record-High 75% of Americans Say Immigration Is Good Thing

“Given attempts by the Trump administration to cut back on legal immigration, Gallup tested an alternative wording to this question for the first time this year -- asking half of the respondents about "legal immigration," whereas the trend question does not specify a particular type of immigration. Americans are more likely to support legal immigration, with 84% describing it as a good thing, nine percentage points higher than the reading for "immigration."”

What does that irrelevant graph have to do with anything?
Hasn't the difference between legal and illegal immigration been pointed out to you liberals about 1000 times?

If you were honest, this is what you would have posted.

Trump's specific focus was on illegal immigrants coming across the nation's border. The idea of doing more to secure the country's borders to prevent illegal immigrants is something most Americans will agree with -- perhaps because it's hard to disagree with a proposal to do more to stop something that is illegal. Last year we found that 77% of Americans said it was "extremely" or "very important" than the government take steps to control U.S. borders to halt the flow of illegal immigrants into the U.S., with 43% saying it was extremely important. Other Gallup research conducted in the last couple of years showed that more than eight in 10 favored new laws that would tighten security at U.S. borders.

You already got your answer if you disagree with RaleBulgarain then you're a stupid poo poo head.

I guess that means I'll always be waiting for RaleBulgarian to substantiate his claims.

Sad

I see you have already chosen your God.
Now go ahead and make a poster out of these and bring them to your temple or shrine.
BTW...if you think this is a struggle between good and evil, as your post says...then you need to get out more.

Obama caused Trump. Maybe not intentionally but it happened.

Bingo!

(And President Obama's first Attorney General's actions also caused President Trump.)

If you were honest you wouldn’t attempt to spin off in another direction in a feeble attempt to cover up your original assertion:
Trump's views on immigration reflect most Americans views.
The polls/graph in my post completely refuted that notion. Trump wants less immigration, most Americans want more. Trump doesn’t want people from s*** hole countries. Only from places like Norway. Most Americans want immigrants from everywhere. So you see, you were 100% wrong when you said “Trump’s views on immigration reject most Americans views.”

See post above I schooled him.

Who say's they are the same? Cite a reference where any well known liberal equated the two.

Typical right wing deflection. Pfft ...

control the border....tighten security...

those are *exactly* Tump's views.

His job as president of the United States. WTF else would I be talking about?

So what do you hate more? The economic boom or the historic low unemployment for all?

Please let us know when all the "enlightened, NON-RACIST" nations, such as France, Germany, the UK, CANADA, Australia, etc. ELECT A BLACK PRESIDENT/PM.

Grok, why don't you just tell us what your feelings are on Black people. That way we can understand your posts better. You keep pointing to others and other nations all the time but you have yet to let us know clearly how you personally feel and what kind of a nation you would like the U.S. to be.

Inquiring minds want to know.

Not as many as this guy!!View attachment 67245010

You want empty platitudes- Obama's your guy.

You want results- go with Trump.

Whoa, there.

Let's be truthful about this. Trump did not target blacks as the people he was trying to help with lower unemployment, skyrocketting business start-ups or higher wages. The blacks are just part of the population and therefore receiving those benefits because everyone is getting them, not because he actually meant to specifically help blacks. In fact, him taking credit for that specifically means that he wants special credit for it for not being racist and that is just a scammer trying to "milk the cow" for all he can.

Obama's victory lifted millions of Americans; for white supremacists, he lit a powder keg.

And, now we are stuck with Trump, a man who goes down to Mississippi to rally for a Dixiecrat. So, here we are in a true battle between good and evil.

Choose a side. If you haven't already, you better do it now. There is no middle-way on this. It's hope versus hate, plain and simple.

I think we should all just forget about hate and go into the tunnel of Love!

Then again, it is difficult to love this:

How do you define "hope," calamity? And why are hope and hate mutually exclusive? From my perspective, I have noticed that some of the most hopeful people on Earth also happen to be the most hateful. Like the people hoping that Armageddon will come if they trigger a Holy War with the infidels. That takes a lot of hope and a lot of hate in equal measures, I would say.

False choice. It's not between being a liberal/democrat or being a White Supremacist. You don't have to believe everything CNN says without thinking about it, you know?

WRONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

Most aamerican Most assuredly do NOT want more.

present level -39
more -28
less- 29

BOOM!
A 1% lead, in June (wonder what the next poll will show?), of respondents said they want less immigration. Wow. That means 67% of Americans disagree with Trump, who wants less immigration. A clear majority. So, to the original point you attempted to make:
Trump's views on immigration reflect most Americans views.
Boom.

And you don’t even want to talk about Trump’s dream wall.

How ‘bout that big dreamy wall Trump wants?
“The majority of Americans (57%) oppose expanding the construction of walls along the nation's Southern border, a centerpiece of President Donald Trump's proposed immigration-related policies.”
https://news.gallup.com/poll/235775...rder%20Walls,%20Favor%20Dealing%20With%20DACA
Let’s see, 67% want the same or more immigration and Trump wants less.
57% don’t want the wall built,
66% disapproved of taking children from their parents
and 83% want DACA enrollees to be naturalized.
There’s more, but it’s pretty clear that most Americans do not agree with Trump on a buttload of immigration related issues.
