No they don’t get to ignore dress code or the law and the 3 little instigators throwing rocks at LAPD don’t mean they can ignore federal law in all 50 states. Nor can they ignore their policies.
Its became apparent that there have been people impersonating agents, precisely because they aren’t even wearing badges or name plates and refusing to identify to someone with a right to know. To take it a step further they are not telling anyone where they are including attorneys that have a right to access their clients after detention and to file on behalf of their clients.
So, just because of their complaints about a few people doesn’t give them the right to ignore their obligations to follow the law and the rules nor does it mean they get to violate rights. Its very strange that LAPD and guard didn’t get to do the same nor are police officers that assist them in operations. If they are that scared perhaps they need to find another ****ing job

Basically, what I think you're trying to tell us about the MSM.

It's obvious there are those peaceful protesters who don't want to incite violence or get hurt by flying objects, rubber bullets, or big horses.
But who wants to watch thousands of protesters simply milling around shouting anti-Trump slogans?
The most amusing one was "MELT ICE!". Clever, right?

Do people go to car races simply to watch fast cars go around a track hundreds of times?

I'll forward your message to Christi Noem to see if she orders ICE agents to phone ahead to those community leaders to let them know ICE is coming.
That way, ICE officers will be dressed alike, with name tags, and no masks so they can be identified by name and dox'd for the future.
Would that satisfy your need for full transparency so that ICE can conduct less offensive raids into communities harboring illegal aliens?

It's important to recognize that this genuinely criminal behavior is going on.

It is possible to provoke a war -- in other words, it is possible that Trump ordered out unneeded troops, stirred up more commotion than would have happened otherwise, thereby breaking down transportation networks to the point where looters could begin to descend on stores unopposed. Yet the thing about a provoked war is that it is still a war, and still has to be fought, so that the troops might become necessary even though they could have been avoided.

However, that said, I haven't seen evidence that this is more guff than ordinary cops can deal with. Throwing rocks is a punk prank, not a military tactic. There are no rock-throwing battalions in even the least-equipped rebel armies of the world. The term "insurrection" is thrown around so loosely nowadays that people have forgotten that it starts with a single shot and involves multitudes of men willing to pledge their lives and honor to a military organization that fights with real weapons.

Los Angeles should focus on getting enough control to stop looting and arson, using all resources it's been given, whether requested or not, but insisting on primacy of police response and civilian law.

Imagine, the most powerful politician in the world exhibiting hubris while in office.
He should be more humble and honest while trying to get rid of millions of illegal aliens allowed into the country by a president who didn't give a shit about federal immigration laws and national borders.
That's a big job if you need to remain subtle about it.

No doubt seeing as he is close to being 80 there will be some slippage given what he is responsible for in this world.
It's inevitable.
He'll be out of office by the time he's 83.
We survived 8 years of Obama and 4 years of Biden.
We can survive less than four years of Trump.

I guess that depends on perspective. Remind me, how many social media posts Obama or Biden posted about deporting migrants and calling them criminals?

I used to have a friend that was an ice agent. He stopped talking with me because I disagreed that agents should be allowed to do illegal things to catch criminals. His justification was that you do anything you can to catch a bad guy. My take was you’re just another criminal. He didn’t like that.

All we can do is hope.
We can't control Iran, Israel, Russia, or China.
We can't control what insane rioters will do with Molotov cocktails, fireworks, cinder blocks, or more serious weapons.
We can't control the weather; the temperature of the planet.
At least we can control how many illegal aliens we can allow into the country. Sometimes Executive Orders actually work.
