If I was a propagandist and I thought “a” there might be a bunch of empty seats or “b” that a bunch of protesters might fill them and make a fuss I would consider this kind of thing in the name of optics. As neither would look good for trumps authoritarian birthday celebration.

So my bad, but I do believe that it posed a potential optics problem the reality massagers would address.

I sent a reply email after the fact through a backup address I have so I’ll be interested to see if I get any reply.

Could have been a trick to get MAGA to show up and find out it was a scam when it’s too late to get a good real place on the parade route!
