I'm curious, is this a myth or true? :usflag2:
Why is that "everything is bigger in Texas"? :)

P.S. Let's cheer up after the crash, folks. :P

Of course its a myth; if one is not serious at the time - then believe it - laughingly.

Land has to be bigger because the blades of grass grow so far apart, ergo 20 times as much land is required to get the same amount of grass. It has the most and biggest golddiggers on the planet. Texas septic systems are world record, and you probably thought that GWTurdForBrains was just an expression. Texas got it goin' on, don't ya think?

Come on, at least some things must be bigger, eh? :)

I40 in Texas is patrolled more than any highway I drive on. I do 30,000 miles a year mostly highway. When a cop going the other way turned across the median to stop us because he didn’t see the seat belt crossing my wife’s shoulder across an 80 foot wide median and the left lane at a closing speed of at least 130 mph you know that you are in the state of the big. I see many cars on the section of I40 with everything unloaded, trunk liner removed, etc. The AH that stopped us only got a window cracked open on the passenger side. He didn’t even get to see my driver’s license. I told him to remove the truck tire tread from the highway that was lying across the lane about a mile back that he had to drive around to stop me. Yup, AHs are bigger in TX.

Not literally EVERYTHING; but enough to say figuratively everything is bigger in Texas.

I lived and worked in Dallas for a few years and and i have to say, being a prideful California guy at the time, that things are not bigger in Texas but the personal pride of being a Texan was bigger.

It seemed to me that then and even today is that people in Texas are very proud of their heritage as an independent people who don't need and don't want others to tell them what to think or how to act or handle any situation.

When I went there California was great State and a leader economically, and in education and other areas, and Texans looked up to that. They would never bow to it, but they would not for a minute concede that they were second best.

Now with the downfall of California in every way Texas has even more pride than ever before and I don't begrudge them that at all.

I am nearly ashamed to be from California except that I grew up at a different time, before whacked out Liberals destroyed everything here.

That's because the Big Man should have been governor of Texas, not California. I.e. you messed that up.

Having spent some time in Texas when I was stationed at Fort Hood I say no. The deer there were small.Although one person from Texas tried to tell me that the only reason the deer in Texas were so small and the deer in Oklahoma were so big is that Okies do not not know how to shoot and Texans do
