THAT, is what needs to be resolved, and the proper method IMO is to leave or be deported and reenter legally.
I would allow those who leave by their own free will to identify themselves as they leave, giving them a document which after a week or more could be shown to expedite legal entry. Those who need be apprehended by ICE should be documented, deported and not allowed legal entry for a minimum of 1 year or more.
In both instances reentry would be allowed as non-immigrants for a period of 10 years or more, which would require periodic reporting to an immigration office to extend their legal stay every 90 days.

On the other hand, the US has 10 million unemployed, millions in prison and on drugs or dealing with drugs.

Make these people pick the crops, in chain-gangs, like in the good old days. Especially the violent criminals and gang members. You are confusing 2 issues. The people Biden let in aren't here illegally.

It is a good idea to stop the practice of hiring undocumented immigrants, but giving them a path to legality rather than deporting them is cheaper, more humane and much more effective.
