You still dont understand. He didnt tell us that there was no reason to wear a mask because that is what the science says. He said there was no reason so people wouldnt buy up all the masks, needed by those in the medical field. And the science has always shown that wearing a mask helps reduce the chance of the person wearing it, spreading airborne disease.
And expressing science best guess as settled scientific fact can be detrimental.

Yes, at first there was a need to leave the masks to medical professionals who needed it more than the average person. That is still part of the science.

And here is that actual "study", which has many, many variables to it, including the fact that most of those that survived did not have some comorbidity, at least certain comorbidities.


I'd say this really doesn't show what they think. They are trying to link this when there is no way that they could properly separate such a small group within the study like that.

He's right. He is just a totem for the people who don't like that science told them to wear a mask.

They shoot the messenger because they don't like the message. No one on the right argued with science-supported facts. They just bitched about being asked to follow guidelines.
