France wasn't ready for La Penn. Next time, I won't be surprised if they are. Europe sees Trump putting America first and they start wondering why their globalist leaders don't put them first.

Despite all the problems the country was having, including Islamic terrorism, they elected a leader who is the epitome of everything liberal, socialist, and green. In short, a perfect recipe for complete disaster. Already his policies have now started to bring the country down. High fuel taxation in order he can spend a few more euros on green issues, and no doubt fund the building of a some more mosques. I hate to say it, but he is a bit like a young Corbyn.

So, in such a short time the French have proven themselves to admirably be rebeliant, but at the same time quite naive.

Men still retire at 65. Austerity cuts are the process of socialising the bankers' losses from 2007/8, while allowing them to keep their private profits and bonuses..Government policy on selling off council rented stock, (while preventing them from building replacements) and the recession causing a drop in building new homes, caused a housing crisis, which continues. The NHS has been starved of funding since 2010, and a steady policy of introducing private provision of NHS services has served only to increase the pressure on the remaining staff, who have also watched the exodus of their EU colleagues as Theresa May's "hostile environment" bites home. Britain is a nasty place to be, thanks to the far right policies.
The French don't want Macron to take them down that road too.

France has always been in the middle of the shark tank, and has often been the biggest, meanest shark there. You need reminding that when France was taking on all comers in Europe and winning the US was invading Canada and getting it's ass kicked back across the border. 3 times. Yeah, most of France surrendered in WW2, along with most of Europe, and the US came in on the winning side but having watched on TV as helicopters took off from the roof of the embassy in Saigon and were pushed over the side of the aircraft carrier, bailing on a war with one of the smallest countries in the world, I don't get what you've got to be proud of.

Good Point.....But it is worse than that.....The Germans and the French were OK with funding the building of a better stronger Europe, but they never agreed to hand over everything to the poor unfortunates all around the globe....being good and hard working was supposed to benefit the ones who are good and hard working....not the Chinese and everyone else that the globalists decided to make a project of. The Globalists turned out to be abusive and ignorant...... abusive because they dont believe in either honesty or consent...... and ignorant because they dont understand either how power works or how much malevolence humans practice even as they practice their stunning degree of malevolence. They lack self awareness.

Europe exists on the edge of a razor blade. it always did and it likely always will. The UK is not even in the same circumstance as the rest of the continent. We don't have the same dynamics that exist in Europe either although we don't seem to appreciate the difference. If Europe is not careful they will drive themselves right up against their old problems though at least without the utter laughable absurdity of the European Royal Houses. Still...even without them, it might not matter if they are not careful.

At least as it relates to Europe we better be careful what we wish for as well.

That is what they think, because they are stupid. Wealth and power can be stripped by bigger power, and increasingly is.....The Chinese, the Russians and the Saudi's for instance have been doing a lot of that in recent years.
