My boyfriend and I are not married (obviously), but we've lived together for three years. We share a bed every night. Even on those "screw you, I'm sleeping on the couch" occasions, it doesn't last the whole night.
Thank you. I wasn't really meaning to limit it to married couples alone, but didn't really think outside that idea til I was making the poll.
Anyone in a relationship, especially long term, feel free to answer as well.
I didn't feel excluded.
My parents slept separately for awhile before they divorced....really even before they had visible problems.

I'm singleton - and I kinda like it at this point in my life.
But my parents slept in different room (on different floors, even) for 5 or 6 years before they split. I can only recall seeing them show affection towards each other once in my life. I was 5 or so and my mother hugged and pecked my dad and I remember thinking it was odd, because I never saw them do that.
As you can guess, they didn't like each other. And everyone, including me, was much happier after they split.
I was born in Minneapolis. Is there any chance I could be your father? Ha, ha................
Lol. From what I know of your politics, you and my dad would kill each other on sight. I doubt it.
You seem to be implying that when my parents split, I was raised by a single mother. Sorry, but you've made a bad assumption. I was raised by a single father.
Just play'n, Sista. Just play'n.:2wave:
Heh, I know. Though I will say I would totally love to see you and my dad break it down. He's even more liberal than me.
I probably would be, too, if I had stayed and played in MN. My mom packed me up in no time, however, and we split, for good. I flew through Minneapolis once, on a trip for Uncle Sam, in my early 40s. I said to the guys with me, "Hey, welcome to where I was born -- Minnesota." "Wow," they responded. "You're from here?"
Don't be so sure. Minnesota really isn't all that liberal, apart from the cities. And my dad isn't from MN. He's... well, he's not really from anywhere. The "nomad" part of my username is not a joke, and I seem to have inhereted it from my dad. In fact, you'd probably fit in fine in the suburb I went to high school in. Half an hour from the city, but about as Evangelican conservative as it gets.
That's good to hear. I had written off MN as hopelessly Communist.
