(CNN) Trump lays into Musk, suggesting he has ‘Trump derangement syndrome’

Not shocking you would think that.

Even with this hot mess tens of millions would take what we have now over anything the batshit crazy Left thows out there.
So you say.... Sad to realize tens of millions think a lunatic spouting about dog eating during a presidential debate is a wise choice at the ballot box. Sad too, that we get to deal with that depraved conclusion.

Nope. Both those species are formidable foes. This is Cobra chain of command breaking down, like the cartoon episode "Worlds Without End", where several Joes got pushed into another dimension where Cobra took over but then they all started fighting each other. Cobra Commander, Destro and the Baroness were all at war with each other.

Trump is absolutely Cobra Commander, failed used car salesman who tried to commit fraud, got caught then decided to form an evil organization to take over the world. He was also an incompetent megalomaniac that unbelievably was able to convince dozens of smart and/or talented people to work with or for him in his goals, and command an Army of sycophants so dedicated to him that they all changed their names to Fred.

Musk is sort of a combination of the Twins (financial backers) and Destro (arms dealer who is grudgingly working with Cobra because they sort of have the same goals).

And, given that I'm not a regular in the conspiracy forum, I can affirm that I'm not typically a conspiracy theorist in the slightest, but something just feels manipulative about all of this too me. The conflict is too open, too much at once, too direct, and almost too scripted, like both parties had their "lines" ready to go.
I would agree with you, and think the situation and the players all scream manipulation and forced drama. On the other hand, that would require both egotists to follow a script, and neither likes to be told what to do. I think we are seeing actual "reality TV" played out on social media.

Yeah, a third party for middle of the road, AfD supporting, white privilege defending, love giving in a Roman salute sort of way, totally centrist people, like @trixare4kids .

Can't wait to see their logos. Sign me up!

😆

Trump won the Presidency by a little over a point.

Any candidate that will shave-off that point is a friend of mine!

You’re looking at history through rose colored glasses.

By comparison, I can't say the present is looking too successful for Dem's attaining Office.

Before you can govern, you've got to attain Office.

You're probably right, but at the same time, today's things might help the lefts chances a little but who knows?

JFK was murdered nearly 62 years ago. Anyone who isn't exatcly like him isn't a real Democrat until it is time to shit on Democrats of today for not being like Democrats in the 1860s and defending the state right to slavery, like Republicans of today.

We are on the same page. Something just smells off.

I would suggest that, at least on Musk's part, the board hired a PR crisis management team, and he was told very directly to say what he needs to say to save the company. I doubt it's much deeper than that.

Remember, everything you see is marketing.

Target?

Don't you mean, "beneficiary?"
No. I mean "target." Who is the mysterious scammer trying to scam?

Two multi-billionaires colluding to get one elected as one gets majorly damaged in the process. Then the other one exits and suddenly they're trading barbs in the press, knowing that people will lop it up.
lol

Musk didn't set out to trash his reputation. He's just too arrogant and dumb to realize that his political activities would ruin Tesla.

I'd add that Musk is basically accusing Trump of being a pedophile, and Trump is threatening to cut billions of SpaceX contracts. This is not just "trading barbs."

Musk gets to repair his reputation and retain his role in his companies without getting run out of town by his board of directors.

Musk controls the board and the company. He's not going anywhere. Nor is throwing a national multi-day temper tantrum, basically demanding more cuts to federal services, going to repair his reputation.

The question we all really should be asking is, "Who actually gets HARMED by all of this back and forth?"
lol... Musk and Trump. Obviously.

Sadly, this also harms the nation as a whole, as its leadership looks like a clown show.

Because to me, they each stand to benefit from having a very public divorce.
Or....

Musk is almost certainly now on the verge of losing billions in contracts, tens if not hundreds of billions in stock valuation, and getting extensively investigated by the DoJ, SEC, INS.... He's not going to benefit.

Dear Leader made an enemy of the wealthiest man in the world, who has an enormous megaphone, no filter, and is attacking Trump like a rabid weasel. He's a conspiracy theorist who knows what buttons to push. He could potentially kill the big tax bill, and fund primary challengers to pro-Trump Republicans. Trump is not going to benefit.

Let's get real: The whole "Trump is playing 11-dimensional chess!" is utter nonsense. Both of them are creatures of pure impulse, who routinely step on their own plans with their lack of impulse control. This is not some brilliant plan to make them both look like geniuses, it's a pair of toddlers fighting in the sandbox.

I have to wonder if they agreed to this kind of thing in advance as they play regular people like pawns, as the billionaire class seems to love to do.
I have to wonder if you've ever heard of Ockham's Razor.

You also might want to read up on hubris.

I made no mention of any past posts. But it seems pretty clear to me that on some level, you just don't want to accept that the two most influential people right now in the MAGA movement are immature thin-skinned narcissists, with zero impulse control, that now hate each other, because they both want power and attention, and see the other one as in their way and/or having more than they do.

I think she was thrown into an impossible situation, and considering that ran a decent race with many supporters. It's sad to realize I will probably never witness a woman president, and the tenor of the country currently is "we've already had a person of color"

Thinking back on Democratic successes, two of the last three were extremely intelligent, charismatic, communicators, and that's who will need to come to the head of the pack this time around. (No offense to Joe Biden, who I consider intelligent but "folksy straight forward rather than charismatic)

He introduced Medicare.

And the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

For Trump, Civil Rights Protections Should Help White Men

Administration officials pick and choose which civil rights protections they want to enforce, and for whom.

Exactly.

Medicare, Medicaid, and the Civil Rights Acts all sprang from JFK's Administration, particularly Civil Rights.

That Kennedy was shot-down before he could complete what his Veep finished for him, does not detract from his impetus.

And, he was am unabashed fighter! He fought for those aforementioned acts, leaving LBJ with an imperative to finish his tasks upholding his legacy. To his credit, LBJ - the unwillingly drafted sidekick, was up to the task of manifesting JFK's destiny.

We could do far worse than having another JFK in Office.

I think you have hit on an elegantly uncomplicated explanation for what we are seeing today. Occams razor. Very likely motivation.

But the whole story arc. It's so broad. He has been so passionate about what he was doing with "DOGE".

And then we went from "It's all computer!" to the divorce in like 2ish months? Was he acting then, or is he acting now? Or both? OR was he super enthusiastic about the chance to "help the administration", somehow changed his mind along the way, and then went full 180 and started doing this scorched Earth twitter takedown?

I mean... it's possible. But just so odd., And yeah I know... Aspergers.

In some ways we have two of the worlds most prolific trolls. In fact arguably #1 AND #2. And now they are facing off. And they are both unstable, megalomaniacs.

The stakes are so high... lol.

You think a PR crisis management team told Musk to accuse the President of being in cahoots with a known pedophile?

You think Musk would listen to a PR crisis management team?!?

Remember, everything you see is marketing.
If "everything is marketing," and pays attention to handlers, then why would Musk do things that so thoroughly destroyed his reputation, and is driving his car business straight into the ground?

This is not "marketing." Any marketer or PR flack who thinks this is good for Musk ought to be fired.

If only....

But many (most?) people don't really like Musk anymore – and he'll probably be even less popular after this current dust up. I'm not sure how that translates into winning elections – unless it's just about money (and perhaps favorable posts on Twitter).

Vote for us – now we've got the guy who helped get Trump elected on our side! Remember how he fired all those government workers without authority? And how he cut Congressional approved funds from agencies that helped people? Now he's our guy!

Make the US Excellent Again (MUSEA)!

It struck me as an opportunity to neuter the MAGA vote. I can't help but believe that would not fallout positive for the Dems.
