The Biden administration will significantly loosen federal mask-wearing guidelines to protect against COVID-19 transmission on Friday, according to two people familiar with the matter.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Friday will announce a change to the metrics it uses to determine whether to recommend face coverings, shifting from looking at COVID-19 case counts to a more holistic view of risk from the coronavirus to a community. Under current guidelines, masks are recommended for people residing in communities of substantial or high transmission — roughly 95% of U.S. counties, according to the latest data.

Most of the country has already started doing this over the last two or three weeks. But the CDC, being the data driven institution they are needed time to dot the i's and cross the t's. It is good to see that the states did not jump the gun in the sense of doing something where the CDC would have gone another direction though.

COVIDiots have played a big role in the extention and expansion of the crisis, and I don't expect that to change. You need to remind yourself that wearing your mask is meant to protect others from you, should you happen to be a carrier of the virus. The vaccines protect you (to a great degree) from others. If someone standing near you happens to sneeze that mask won't help you. There are other avenues of the virus to enter your body besides the mouth and nose. Ever notice that HCW are wearing face shields in addition to masks?

You know, "little" people like you and I have said this for two years to the derision of the resident leftists who called us all manner of names, like morons, ignorant, anti-science, religious nutsos all the while they only wore masks to virtue signal because they secretly knew what a farce it was to wear masks in between bites of food and during sex. Here the morons wore masks in a building for fear of some fat nanny type calling security on them such as what happened to me in a casino sitting in the back of a sportsbook with absolutely no one around while on the phone. they go home, rip off their mask and cohabitate with their family with NO masks on.

Because to know who is COVID positive at any given time would have required massive testing on a regular basis due to it being asymptomatic in many cases. Why would you want such a program of mass surveillance testing?
