Can Donald Trump actually end the Ukraine war? Jeffrey Sachs thinks he can

I used that metric to determine whether or not Russia has won the war, since the purpose of the war is an invasion of a sovereign country with the goal being to take ownership of the country, return it to the Russian empire, and stave off further NATO expansion. So, given the below facts:
Take ownership of Ukraine? Lol Operation Mockingbird alert!

The reason Putin invaded was to prevent Ukraine from joining NATO.

...obviously, Russia has not won the war, correct?
It's telling that you refuse to answer a simple question like was Ukraine winning. Your refusal to answer shows you know Ukraine wasn't winning.

What qualifies as "winning" in this case? That's the question I asked of you that you keep dodging. You're the one who claimed that Russian won this war a while ago. How did you determine that?

Yeah Russia made a very obvious lunge for Kiev early in the war, maybe you missed it.

The reason Putin invaded was to prevent Ukraine from joining NATO.

Putin said he would stop the expansion of NATO, and now Sweden and Finland are in NATO. How did that work?

It's already been answered:

So... stopping Russia from invading and taking over their entire country translates to Ukraine losing the war, in your eyes?

When you consider the cost/benefit ratio of what Russia spent in blood and treasure and what they have so far achieved, the real loser of this war is the Russian people.

Taking over their entire country? That's ridiculous. You need to venture outside of the corporate media war propaganda.

Spoken like someone brainwashed by corporate media propaganda. You probably still think Saddam had WMD.

When Ukraine stopped making any progress which was a while ago. Did you think Ukraine was winning?

What a weird metric. So when Russia stopped making progress, it had lost the war too?

Both sides stopped making progress at different times. At other times they BOTH made progress at different parts of the front line. For a while the BOTH stopped making progress everywhere.

So, according to your made up BS metric, Russia already lost the war a bunch of times and so did Ukraine.

Russia objectively attempted to capture Kyiv the capital of Ukraine, assassinate Zelenskyy the Ukrainian president, and was repelled by the Ukrainian military. What do you think the purpose of this was?

Are you familiar with how war works?

It's laughable that anyone that Ukraine was winning or even had a chance to win.

It's laughable that anyone that Ukraine was winning or even had a chance to win.

What's laughable is your assertion that Russia won the war. Then when challenged on that, you came up with an even more laughable metric to support that nonsensical statement. And according to that laughable metric, both Russia and Ukraine lost the war many times already.

You Literally Can't Believe The Facts Tucker Carlson Tells You. So Say Fox's Lawyers

Tucker Carlson appears to be made of Teflon. Fox News' top-rated host has been repeatedly accused of anti-immigrant and racist comments, which have cost his political opinion show many of its major advertisers. Yet Carlson endures in his prime-time slot.

Carlson even attacked his own network's chief news anchor on the air, with no real consequences. That anchor, Shepard Smith, quit mid-contract shortly after Carlson went after him.

Now comes the claim that you can't expect to literally believe the words that come out of Carlson's mouth. And that assertion is not coming from Carlson's critics. It's being made by a federal judge in the Southern District of New York and by Fox News's own lawyers in defending Carlson against accusations of slander. It worked, by the way.

Tucker Carlson fans are the people who see 1739909201313.webp

And think it's a government plot. Then whip out their screwdrivers to see what's behind it.

I'm sorry. It's hard not to laugh at people like you that are either so naive or brainwashed my corporate media war propaganda. Anyone who thought Ukraine was winning or had a chance to win wasn't living in reality.

And Russia still can't take Ukraine. How embarrassing for Putin.

Even if it happens the haters will find fault.
That depends on the conditions of the ceasefire deal. WW2 could have been avoided if European nations outside of Germany would have agreed to be part of the Third Reich, and Asian nations would have agreed to be part of the empire of Japan. Had the US decided not to stop selling steel to Japan, no Pearl Harbor. See how easy that would have been?

By overthrowing the current president and installing a puppet government willing to do Russia's bidding, yes.

Spoken like someone brainwashed by corporate media propaganda. You probably still think Saddam had WMD.
No one needs "corporate media propaganda" when Putin's views on Ukrainian sovereignty are widely available.

And Russia still can't take Ukraine. How embarrassing for Putin.
It cute that you think that Russia was trying to take over all of Ukraine.

**** Jeffrey Sachs.

I asked you if you thought Ukraine was winning. Do you?

Why are you asking me about controlling Kyiv? Is that the only metric you are using to judge who's winning?
If the Russians are so successful, then why have they been stalled outside of Povrosk for a month?

Outrunning your logistics and then falling on your nose isn't winning.
