Seriously, one of the areas where the several states clearly delegated authority to the federal government was in the area of international relations and immigration Time for these cities to get with the program.

I'm not good at such material, but my understanding is states are not compelled to enforce federal law, and it is one reason why such laws are often given federal funding. The feds then have the states comply with the laws by pulling the funding if they don't comply.

They get it, they just don't like it. They will continue to push their wishes on the rest of the country and continue to lose seats in Congress until they wake up. They will scream and holler and throw tantrums like they are doing now but the rest of the country is tired of it. There are some that are starting to realize this but not enough to make a difference.

It is instant deflection time folks - time to drop the illegal part of illegal immigrants and pretend that sanctuary cities are just about supporting foreign born US citizens. News flash - US citizens need no sanctuaries since they cannot be deported.

How about this amazing statistic - 100% of illegal immigrants have commtted a crime simply by being here illegally. Yes, some were forced to commit that crime by their parents and were too young to understand, protest or resist.

The GOP had MANY chances to address the immigration issue, they never have because businesses love immigrants, legal and illegal. They work cheap and keep wages down. And because the GOP is very business friendly they never have, nor will they ever close the borders. As long as the business lobbyists keep lobbying to keep the borders open the GOP won't do a thing to stop it.

I got to give to GOP a ton of credit though, they got their base believing the immigration problems are 100% the Dems fault. It's not, the Republicans have had Congress and the WH many times, but they never did a damn thing to close the borders. But the GOP's lying and propaganda still keeps the gullible Republican base still believes it's all the Dems fault.
