C.D.C. Contradicts Kennedy and Keeps Advice That Children May Get Covid Shots

Why risk the possibility of producing autistic kids just for political vindication?

Looks like RFK Jr. has a follower.

Decades of medical research (by actual scientists & doctors) contradicts that conspiracy theory/junk science crap.

Like this "research"?

A friend's son just graduated Harvard Medical School. I told him that he now has more medical credentials than the guy who runs HHS.
And also 8 of the last 10 HHS secretary's.

@NOLA Dude What differences between these two concepts do you not understand?

"I couldn't be more pleased to announce that as of today the Covid vaccine for healthy children and healthy pregnant women has been removed from the CDC recommended immunization schedule," Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced in a video posted on X. "We're now one step closer to realizing President Trump's promise to make America healthy again."

The agency kept Covid shots on the schedule for healthy children 6 months to 17 years old, but added a new condition. Children and their caregivers will be able to get the vaccines in consultation with a doctor or provider, which the agency calls “shared decision-making.

Your claim there is a contradiction without saying that these are complementary.

Kennedys announcement shows the removal of a universal recommendation while the CDC's guidance adds a conditional option for the same groups.

Remove versus keep.
Case closed.
Have a good one.

Bzzzt, wrong. But you should be used to that. Kennedy wanted it off the schedule completely, the CDC kept it on the schedule.

But maybe some rando on X can defend your position for you.

Any decision by a parent to vaccinate their child outside the CDC recommended schedule should be made in consultation with their healthcare provider.

Their website recommends it as we speak.

What to know

  • Everyone ages 6 months and older is recommended to get the updated COVID-19 vaccine, including if you are pregnant, breastfeeding a baby, trying to get pregnant now, or might become pregnant in the future.
  • COVID-19 vaccination during pregnancy is safe and effective.

That website says it was from 2024. Click on the link that says there's been an update and you will see it there.

Its not on the childhood schedule anymore and they dont recommend it. Click on the notes section under Covid

They never did long term placebo controlled safety studies for the vaccines so you can't say that vaccines dont cause autism or they are safe.

So where exactly is the contradiction. The announcement was no longer recommended if healthy and the CDC is saying that you now need to consult with your doctor to see if it's a good idea.
The rabid vaxers and the NYTs who's in bed with big pharma thought they had a gotcha moment.

Autistic kids?

Bwwwwaahahahahahahahah

You fall for that flat-earth BS?

I was showing clear signs of being on the spectrum long before getting all my childhood vaccines.
And that would be circa 1960-1963.
No, most physicians had no idea what autism was back then but all the puzzle pieces of my strange childhood behavior fell into place once I received my diagnosis because most normal kids my age did not behave the way I did and everyone who knew me as a child could tell I was quite different.

What a shit show. USA! USA! USA!

Days after Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced that Covid shots would be removed from the federal immunization schedule for children, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued updated advice that largely counters Mr. Kennedy’s new policy.

@NOLA Dude is gonna be heartbroken. 😄

They never did long term placebo controlled safety studies for voting Trump so you can't say it doesn't cause autism or that it isn't safe.

Tell us you didn't read the link without telling us you didn't read the link.

Awesome news!

Some people will inject things against reccomendations.

Stupid. But it happens.
