Yeah, I am strongly in favor of people's right to own firearms but it doesn't matter how strict gun laws are if a country lacks the will and ability to enforce those laws. Mexico's law enforcement isn't exactly world class.
when the police are corrupt and the government weak, even better argument for a well armed citizenry

Unless you are in the corrupt government, then you tend not to like that idea.![]()
When the local mayor and police force is in the service of a drug cartel what in the world does that have to do with any gun laws?
gun haters and other assorted clowns tell us that we need gun bans to make us safer. Mexico has gun bans
WOW!!!! Talk about a complete and total disconnect between what actually happened in Mexico and this blatant attempt to twist it into a vitriolic and totally out of place rant against gun laws in the USA!!!!!
And using the death of those kids in Mexico for this purpose is shameful.

I see a connection and nothing shameful.
It's more of giving advice to Mexico (even though they may not necessarily see it).

The point is that if the people of Mexico weren't disarmed, they might have a chance of protecting themselves against drug cartels and corrupt police. This is a perfectly legitimate point, and it's one of the reasons that gun rights are so important in our own culture. Since we have such a relatively high level of freedoms, coupled with a diverse range of citizens and cultural mixing, our crime rate is high compared to other western democracies. Take away our right to defend ourselves with deadly force, and you'll likely see violent crime in the this country rise.
is there a point to your comments?

Perhaps a second reading will help you?
uh no, it was worthless the first time. it appeared to be an attempt to disrupt my thread
Perhaps you computer screen is malfunctioning as my post was both spot on and the essence of perfection.

I was using it to show that countries with idiotic gun control aren't safer as many of the gun banning turds claiml
I will take you claim as to what is shameful seriously when I see you damn gun banners who used Newtown to push gun control
Perhaps a second reading will help you?
Well, whatever you intended didn't work. All you succeeded in doing is showing that you've started to drag through third-world countries looking for favourable comparisons.
I suggest you read your posts out loud, to yourself, before you post them.
Yep, and the US has a strict immigration policy and a very strict recreational drug ban. What matters is not what the law is, but how well the law is actually enforced.![]()
