BS bait and switch

That is the goal for Democrats as well.

Prove me wrong?
that may be, BUT please name me any state that is blue, that is trying to restrict voting by changing its laws and to do away with elected officials. I won't hold my beath!

Rules are the new restrictions?

Show me any new voting law that is directed at a canceling minorities as you people love to say.

why, you don't accept it?
But fwiw here you go:

You sink this low? Really?

White people vote under the very same rules, and there are numerically more poor white people than black people.

Do you like your Koolaid sugared or pre sweetened?

like I said, predictable CULT response. Denial and ignorance. Next? and I don't drink kool aid, but thanks for asking.

Biden really blew it on this one and then he had to back track... but too late, the damage was done. Now republicans are balking at passing the bipartisan infrastructure bill if there's going to be a separate reconciliation bill....and there's no way democrats are going back down from the reconciliation bill.

But then, republicans need something to show their constituents back home, too....and blocking a bipartisan jobs and infrastructure bill isn't going to look too good for their re-elections.

The GOP balking was premeditated

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said Wednesday he is "100 percent" focused "on stopping" President Joe Biden's administration

GOP senator: I want to make Biden a 'one-half-term president'
BY MYCHAEL SCHNELL - 06/15/21
Republican Sen. John Barrasso (Wyo.) last week said he wants to make President Biden a “one-half-term president” in 2022 by ensuring that Democrats no longer have complete control in Washington.

“I’m looking forward to a very successful 2022,” Barrasso said during a breakfast discussion hosted by The Ripon Society on Thursday.

“I want to make Joe Biden a one-half-term president, and I want to do that by making sure they no longer have the House, Senate and White House,” he added.

The only cult worship and Koolaid drinker here is you.

Show me a single law directed at black voters.
not in a Cult thanks, unlike our friends on the other side of the aisle.

I've been off the Internet for a week, so I'm not up to speed on this bipartisan deal but this clip implies that some Republicans are still not sure the Dems won't try to push their previous package through by using reconciliation. I'd say that's a smart position to take given the Dem's history of making and reneging on deals in the past.
My apologies but I don't see how you being on or off the internet changes anything with regard to you being informed on any topic :)

It's kind of hard to follow current events when out in the middle of the Colorado mountains enjoying nature. Not to mention the fact that I preferred to enjoy nature than follow current events all last week.

The only thing "bipartisan" means to the GOP and its loyal base is doing whatever the **** the GOP wants, which is mainly tax cuts for the upper crust and traumatizing brown kids.

Mycroft knows that his posts are seen as lacking even a hint of credibility, generally being stupid recycled propaganda; just one knee-jerk post after another, always dropped in the 2nd or 3rd post of DP threads.

Announcing that he's been off the internet for a week is supposed to provide him some cover for yet another one of those posts. It's supposed to pre-emptively neuter completely accurate "you're just bullshitting" responses.

Oh just be honest about it. If it's a D and good, you credit Rs. If it's a D and bad you blame Ds. If it's an R and it's good you credit Rs. if it's R and bad you blame Ds. It's that simple. The only difference is that this time, you thought you'd build in a pre-emptive excuse for the vapidity of your knee-jerk response...

....unfortunately you picked "I don't know what I'm talking about, but...", which is rarely a good start.

As always, the GOP uses claims of "bipartisanship" to excuse its obstruction. Trouble is that here, they'll have a hell of a time selling obstruction of infrastructure bills. After all, they've been lying their asses off about how they know we need to invest a lot in infrastructure, but you can only lie your ass off about an intention to do something about it until bridges start collapsing. Nevermind the dams.

So now they are trapped and mad that they are trapped. They're probably even madder that what they've trapped themselves in is a plan to invest in all of America. (Why borrow unless you're using it to fund upper class welfare, right?). This is just a testing of waters. They want to see if they can get away with yet again dangling bipartisanship to delay the Dems, then snatching it away to try to screw them over, a la Obamacare.

LOL BS

Show me any new proposed law that affects whites differently than black people.

You need to get off the clown car.

We both know that you wouldn't accept any proof given to you, so why are you demanding it?

Why would Democrats not pass a reconciliation bill? This was always the plan. Nobody ever agreed to "ok we will pass this infrastructure bill and then never anything else ever again."

Everything that righties accuse others of doing, they do or enable themselves. Every single thing.

Here's the latest instance of it:

In other words, you don't have shit to say, but feel need anyways.

Democrats should put the compromise bill up for a vote, let Republicans vote yes or no, and if they don't pass it, add it to the second reconciliation bill.

It wasn't 'last minute'. It was said all along.
No, Biden said he wouldn't sign it unless his second bill was passed. This was after all the Republicans were on board with the first bill.

You don’t find it hypocritical how quickly the GOP will get bills signed limiting Constitutional rights like voting, immigration or abortion but god forbid we even discuss gun legislation?

Huh... Republicans said they were in on a bipartisan deal and then backed out of it. What a unbelievable shocking surprise. They've never done that before. /s

Looks like Republicans were shocked that Biden adminstration and Democrats might pass some other legislation after this legislation. Can't have that. Now they want Biden to promise no more legislation. This modern GOP is never acting in good faith. Not in the slightest.

POTUS screwed up, which is why he backtracked on it. 🤷‍♂️

Personally I think both deals are bloated abominations, but, DC doesn't even pretend to care anyone.

.... Immigration is a Constitutional Right, but bearing arms isn't.

Uh. You may want to recheck that.
