Either way Tesla makes a sale - right?Keep believing in your pipe dream. Why do you think Tesla would allow their cars to do what they are selling a Power Wall to do?
Isn't that what I have been saying for more than a year or two?Toyota is speaking up about limitations of battery electric vehicles.

It does not change the very real points that Toyota is raising! While other car companies sees the great potential in renewable energy. Quote from your source.
"This comes on the coattails of Audi’s CEO stating the company won’t develop new internal combustion engines and BMW saying the exact opposite, as well as Mini and GM both laying out a timeline for ditching ICE powertrains entirely. These moves are controversial with passions running strong on both sides, but much of these movements come with different governments threatening ICE bans."

You still are not even attempting to understand the points Toyota is raising. There are of course challenges but you are seeing massive innovations to solve those challenges. There Toyota is one of the companies making those innovations.

Yes, the batteries they developed can charge in 10 minutes. But no. The capacity of the batteries in a car could not be charged that fast. There are limits of cable size inside the car that limits the current transfer. They would be excessivley big and heavy to carry enough power to charge a car battery module in 10 minutes. But, you deny the facts in preference of repeating lies.
The first time I pointed this out, I asked you to show us where Toyota made the 10 minute claim.
Hint... They never made such a stupid claim! Only the ignorant journalist did.

Batteries will become an extensive part of our energy storage. However, I predict that we will transition to synthetic fuels that are carbon neutral because we will make them from CO2. Batteries will be smaller and operate in parallel with fuel cells that will operate with the clean synthetic hydrocarbons.
We need that type of energy density. 100 pounds of fuel and 10 pounds of battery instead 1,000 pounds of battery. We will not need as much rare elements, which will get exceptionally expensive at the quantities needed for an all battery fleet. And don't forget the environmental damage the nations do t the mining sites, using cheap labor and environmentally unfriendly methods.
The Biden administration are setting more important goals for a more sustainable society. With investments in off shore wind power and cities build for people instead of cars.
"The Biden administration is moving to sharply increase offshore wind energy along the US east coast, saying on Monday it is taking steps toward approving a huge windfarm off New Jersey as part of an effort to generate electricity for more than 10m homes by 2030.
Meeting the target could mean jobs for more than 44,000 workers and for 33,000 others in related employment, the White House said. The effort also would help avoid 78m metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions a year, a key step in the fight to slow the climate crisis.
Joe Biden “believes we have an enormous opportunity in front of us to not only address the threats of climate change, but use it as a chance to create millions of good-paying, union jobs that will fuel America’s economic recovery”, said the White House climate adviser Gina McCarthy."
“Nowhere is the scale of that opportunity clearer than for offshore wind.”

"“We’re better off if our decisions revolve not around the car but around the human being,” he said, remotely, in a keynote to the South by Southwest (SXSW) conference held in Austin, Texas.
“One thing that I don’t think a lot of Americans are aware of is how far behind we are on bicycle and pedestrian safety,” said Buttigieg who was appointed as President Biden’s transport secretary early last month.
“Other developed countries are safer to walk or bike on than American streets,” he added, intimating he would change that.
Buttigieg made many people-friendly changes when he was the mayor of South Bend, Indiana."
Design For Human Beings Not Cars, New U.S. Transport Secretary Says
“In the 50s the mentality around roads was that they existed for one purpose and that was to move as many cars as you could as fast as you could,” the new U. S. transport secretary has told a conference, adding that one of his priorities will be to halt and reverse that mentality.www.forbes.com

100% electricity, 78% total? Do you realize how many gasoline and diesel powered vehicles they will have to force off the road to do that? How much they will have to upgrade their power grid?
