Joe has made non-stop gaffes and strange remarks for the past year without a script and its clear his cognitive abilities have been in decline, this is just the latest proof in a string of proofs that you and the other libs refuse to consider. This didnt happen in a vacuum you know.

I'm retirement age and just as sharp as when I was 30. Everyone of my long time friends will corroborate that as true. I'm just as fast on my feet, too. Nobody will deny that either. How sharp and how fast?.....All my friends, both of them, have the answer. But when I was on a laptop videocon with Putin, I held my IPhone turned 180 from me so that the speaker/receiver was closest to the laptop audio and the listener, David Nunes, could hear better.

You're voting that way this year, though. So that's what I mean.

"Proof positive" comes from a doctor's report. You can suspect, but you can't know for sure.

I suspect that Trump has narcissistic personality disorder and Biden has mental deterioration. I also suspect that Trump should be on the sex offender list (and in prison) and Biden might possibly have a problem with that too, but "milder" than Trump's actions.

So now we have two main candidates who both probably have mental problems and both probably have some varying degree of having gross behavior toward women. When will we ever get behind having more than 2 realistic choices?

If not, well your not even qualified to make that assessment. If you are a doctor then you know its unethical to diagnose with out an examination. Either way you look foolish, but suspect your use to that emotion.

That is not reasonable to conclude, very few if any in the thread are trying to "protect their fuhrer."

If anything most are saying this is just not a big issue in the grand scheme of things when considering Biden vs. Trump, at the end of the day that is the decision that we are faced with and it is not necessarily some wonderful choice we are having to make.

I and a few others have been very vocal that we were not overly happy that Biden got the nod, and I was one of the first to say Harris might not have been the best VP choice.

But then again... the alternative has plenty from those what would not vote for Trump anyway to those that might have last time around concerned.

LOL. If he's on a Zoom call the computer is picking up Biden's audio, so it's not running through the phone. I don't know why he has a phone, but if it's to broadcast her voice over his phone, then it's not 'upside down' at all, since it's pointed to the computer's speakers, which is where her voice will be broadcast.

And, yes, politicians use scripts, like many others making public addresses. It's pretty common and a good practice if there are some points you want to make.

That may not matter. So far this election has been all about Trump with his childish antics and his spoiled brat personality. It's been all about the peoples dislike of Trump and not much at all about Biden. If Trump had acted a bit more presidential than as a WWE wrestler in a pre-fight interview he might not be trailing nationally by 8 points.

Most folks think I'm crazy when I continue to point to Trump obnoxious, uncouth personality. That in itself makes him an easy man to dislike and he has give us 4 years for his schoolyard bully persona to grate on all of America. Right now policy, the direction of the country, even political ideology in some cases has taken a back seat to Trump's distasteful personality.

No one knows if that will continue or not. But his rude personality is going to be a very hard thing to overcome. Being disliked as a person like he is regardless of his policies, of what he has done or hasn't done as president, that in a nutshell could be enough to lose this election.

To the question, number 97, Regardless of whether you agree with him, do you like or dislike Donald Trump as a person? Only 21% of independents answered yes, 50% said no. A huge minus 29 points difference. Question 106 asked independents the same question about Biden. 29% like him as a person, 34% do not. Only a minus 5 points.

When Trump won independents in 2016, 57% of independents viewed him unfavorably, 70% view Clinton unfavorably. That's was a plus 13 points for Trump. Today he's at a minus 16. Not good news from the independent ranks.

There is plenty to be critical about with Biden, but this is silliness. Focus on his policies, his part in the the failures of the Obama administration, his lack of executive leadership experience. This kind of stuff is petty.

As far as the script - this is a photo op. It's expected that he give some sage wisdom as he makes the ask - something to be quoted in the press. This isn't a surprise proposal - Harris already agreed to be the VP pick before this call was scheduled.

On the phone - he was using the speaker phone - again, so the press could hear it. I often hold my phone upside down when speaking to someone on speaker as well. The speakers (and microphone) are on the bottom. It makes it easier for everyone to hear.

On the cartoon - It's funny! I've always liked Biden's sense of humor, and his ability to be self deprecating. I'd love to meet him.
