Yes we shall. Well they are all bedfellows. There never will be a small government, I gave up on that ideal long ago. Fiscally Conservative, damn dude that is a sore point with me, as neither Party is and have not been for a long time. My fantasy is that each and every expenditure is reviewed by a nonpartisan committee that reforms them to make them more stream lined and efficient, across the board, military social programs and infrastructure wise. I doubt we are as far apart as you may have believed. Oh, and I believe the 1st and 2nd must be upheld as written.

Gee...what happened to you? You used to be Mr Constitution! The answer to all your questions is that the Constitution gives the states the power to administer elections. As to control of absentee ballots, even Trump said the procedures are very safe:

“Absentee Ballots are fine because you have to go through a precise process to get your voting privilege.”

I do agree with you though that a national policy for elections would be preferable.

When I'm happy. I cook. I feel like I lost 20lbs. with the announcement of Joe as our 46th president.

Therefore, I'm BBQ'ing chicken, chops, and grilling burgers to regain those 20lbs.

Just opened a bottle of Crown Royal!

Life is good again....

PS: Sadly, friends are showing up and I won't be able to eat and drink it all...lol

Here's the problem, this election just doesn't smell right as I indicated in my posts. How does anyone know if someone truly requested a no excuse absentee ballot and what justifies any state from sending out official ballots to all registered voters? The passion and enthusiasm has been for Trump not Biden and there is a reason Biden spent most of his time in his basement as I believe he know the outcome before the votes were even cast. there is no way that as many registered voters requested no excuse Absentee ballots as were cast nor is there justification for states sending ballots to all registered voters in the states not with two full weeks of early voting. My expectations would be for the SC to rule mail in ballots invalid, absentee ballots per precedence valid and others discarded. Trump lost Pa, Ga, Nv, AZ and Wisconsin by a total of 108,000 votes, that is stunning and fits into the category of manufactured mail in ballots without real control

your state and my former state of Indiana got it right, My current state, Ohio, and most of the flyover states got it right. why would anyone celebrate Kamala Harris as a heartbeat from the Presidency? Do you have any idea what Biden's green energy policy is going to do to Indiana?
 
Funny how when Trump won the swing states by a total, IIRC, or 77,000 votes according to Trumpsters it was fair and God Bless America and it's democracy..

But now that Trump LOST those same states by about the same amount of votes according to the Trump cult it means voter fraud and everything is crooked and American democracy is dead..

What a bunch of whiny hypocrites...

Lose a state and then find out by how much and Git them needed votes by
hook or crook.That is Exactly what happened
No way that Trump was up 700,ooo votes { Including Pittsburg }
and then Loses.In fact it isn't statistically Possible.The reason Pennsylvania
decided to stop counting and allow for Philadelphia be the place to
count votes.They first needed time to allocate those hordes of corrupt
Ballots and then have the necessary place { How about a Huge Convention center } to
secretly check off ballots while intentionally not allowing 6 feet of space to view { Poll Observers }
That is Law.A Poll Observer has to have the right to view the counting process.
Poll Observers were both denied close observation but also told to leave
the Convention center if voicing concerns they cannot possibly see
what those ballot counters were doing.Some were 80 yards away.
Having moved their desks to the opposite side of the large room.
In Detroit they didn't even bother doing that.They just took cardboard and
placed over the windows that Poll Observers used to watch votes being determined.
That one isn't even a close call.
I fully expect and anticipate this Biden thing to use words like
I am the President in what was a Fair and Honest Election.As decided by a
majority reporting it.Er some such tripe.

Interesting. They didn't start like that. On the contrary they were the first ones to call Trumps claim of voter fraud distasteful and inaccurate and pointed out that he undermined the democracy processes. I guess they now have received sharp directions from Rupert Murdoch.
