I imagine some probably are. I'm serious about not remembering them all. I've had a number of one night stands. I've been drunk before. When I'm with a girlfriend in a committed relationship I am 100% true blue. Having said that, if I'm not, I'm 100% true slut. Not saying I'm proud, but that's just the way it is. NSA sex gets a bad rap.

Making love to a woman you give a damn is definitely better, but meaningless sex is better than no sex. It's like pizza - there may be some pizza you like more than others, but there's rarely an inedible pizza.

A lot of guys use sex to enlarge their ego. Some do it throughout their entire lives. Most, including myself do it or did when they were young. I remember feeling good about myself simply because the night before I got laid. Some guys do grow up to a point where just getting laid isn't that big of an ego boost. The last time I was single which was a few years ago, I would hook up out of boredom, not for ego.

As for the emotional connection, divorced, widowed single women usually can deal better with the emotional aspect of sex when they get a little older. They can better seperate between love and just having a good time. They are more discreet and have learned how to get what they want without having to draw so much attention to themselves. Not that sexy is a bad thing mind you. Guys who excessively sleep around do end up with bad reps and are also unable to get a quality GF or spouse when the time would come for it. This isn't the 60's, 70's or 80's anymore. both men and women are a bit more conciensus of themselves, well, more of them anyway. Of course the increase in STD's and aids has helped a lot with being more cautious sexually as well.

Men get the same way as women, but women tend to get it earlier. If a woman hits 25 without intense attachment (marriage, engagement, or very long relationship), it can look bad while men at 25 still have a window open. However, if a man gets to be about 30 and he's still enjoying "playing the field", he's probably rather pathetic and not very happy with himself.
