Thank you for your kind words. I also lost my mom to lung cancer, and even on the same day that your mother passed away, just a different year (1992). I'm really sorry for your loss. Isn't it amazing how we're expected to just carry on like nothing happened? To this day, I still miss my Dad more than ever and would give literally anything to have him with me again, healthy and whole (he was the one I was close to, rather than my mom). I do my best to remember him in his prime, enjoying life, rather than the way he looked at the end, and I'm just glad his suffering is over. Feel free to PM me if you need to talk.
