(Axios) "Egg prices plunging as bird flu subsides and shortages dissipate"

Utter nonsense.

You can’t point to any Dem that has indicated a belief in Traitor Trump’s groceries promise. Not a single one.
I'm sure there are entire threads devoted to it.

Repost a single Dem/lib DP member’s comment asserting their belief that Traitor Trump would actually bring down grocery prices on day one, as you’ve asserted.
Namely, the left. The only people who took that literally. The only people crying over that "day one" stuff.

By definition, people shouldn't take obvious hyperbole literally.
Got it. So when he says he's going to tackle an issue on day one we shouldn't believe him. I guess when he said making peace in the Ukraine war would be easy was also hyperbole not to be taken literally either. How about "make America great again", that too?

The site is full of leftists who took that literally.

Let's talk specifics. Which issue did he say he was going to tackle on day one did you literally believe he was going to tackle on day one?

Yay!

Solving the war in Ukraine was the one I was eager to see him solve on day one because he was so specific about the time frame:

Donnie Boy's timeline for ending the war in Ukraine said:
They’re dying, Russians and Ukrainians. I want them to stop dying. And I’ll have that done — I’ll have that done in 24 hours.

Thank you President Trump for lowering egg prices.

Trump was blamed for egg prices up

Trump can be credited with egg prices down

right ?

You are very blessed to have the income to ignore food prices fluctuations.

I wish everyone, everywhere was so privileged! Maybe someday!

I really don't see egg prices making a substantive dent in most consumer's budgets. If one's getting broken by 2 bucks a week, they need to re-examine their personal finances.

The electoral food metrics in the UK tend to be the price of a loaf of bread and a pint of milk rather than eggs.

And looking at the data, it appears the US has always nommed more eggs per head than the UK, 15kgs per head in the US in 2022 vs 9 over here.

They eat so many in Paraguay that their health service is worried about raised cholesterol levels, so maybe weaning youse off eggs is a task mr brainworm guy could usefully apply himself to.

Wow. That's a lot of eggs. Thanks.

My household's doing a carton every 7-10 days! If that.

Many fortunate people feel the same way about inflation.

You are very lucky to not be negatively affected by rising food prices. I'm glad you are in such an enviable position, and I only wish there were more people who shared your privilege.

Hopefully society works towards a future where more people are so insulated from food prices they don't notice when they change.

True but it is psychological and when eggs prices are high it makes everything seem too expensive.
