(Axios) 1 in 5 Republicans want Trump to call election invalid if he loses
--
Nearly one in five Republicans say that if Donald Trump loses the 2024 election, he should declare the results invalid and do whatever it takes to assume office, according to a new national survey.
--

There, ya' go. MAGA wants to know why it gets a bad name? This statistic says it all!

The key piece here is not the, "He should declare the results invalid . . . " part. It's the, " . . . and do whatever it takes to assume office" part!

I've always said,

"It's not Trump; it's his supporters!"

This poll would seem to support my statement.

I watched this yesterday, and wow, just wow! @HenryChinaski posted this and watching how it all unfolded was shocking to say the least.
Trump actually played a larger role than I thought.

It all started because he’s a narcissist and he has an ability to attract ****ed up people who will enable him.

I can’t read the link (due to a top-up ad for Axios Latino), but nearly (aka under) 1 in 5 (or under 20%) of repubicants, which are about 30% of the US electorate, is less than 6% of the total US electorate.

Do these same people teach their kids to cry foul and complain if the other team beats them at dodge ball?

To add a little more data to yours:

According to Civiqs polling, only 5% or so of Americans in general are QANon supporters, and most (not all, believe it are not) are Republicans. Oddly, this means that 15% of Republican Trump supporters do not support QAnon but support another siege on the Capitol. Any ideas as to what we can make of that?

What’s the point of putting all the pieces in place if you won’t use them?

Axios said:

Is the mere loss of an election evidence enough that it is invalid?

They both choose to partake.

It's not that it's "6%" Americans, but that's 20% of Republicans. This problem is Republican-centric.

So they're looking at January 6th, 2021, and saying "We want more of that!" I'm thinking this time there's going to be plenty of justifiable force ready to stop any seditionists attempting to have Trump assume office by violence. So good luck with that, you 20% MAGA Republican anti-Constitutionalists.

Over the last several months, I've offered rather than a march against D.C. - MAGA will descend upon Red Statehouses.

They would burn this country to the ground as long as they are king of the ashes

Attempting to minimise something so serious? Ain't gonna work.
