Trump nominee Sam Clovis blasted progressives as 'race traders' and 'race traitors' in old blog posts

Sam Clovis, President Donald Trump's nominee to be the Department of Agriculture's chief scientist, maintained a now-defunct blog for years in which he accused progressives of "enslaving" minorities, called black leaders "race traders," and labeled former President Barack Obama a "Maoist" with "communist" roots.

The month before, Clovis said the 2012 Republican primary candidates needed to call out progressives for what they were — "liars, race traders and race 'traitors.'"​

"Race traitors" huh?

What a slimey pile of crap. Guy sounds like one of the DebatePolitics trolls rather than someone who belongs in the executive branch actually assisting in the leading of our country.

The left is fixed on skin oolor and brings the subject up evrey time they don't get their way

Hilarious being that its this guy whose consumed with race. I noticed how you just skipped right over the "Race traitor" portion and ignored the hell out of that. How convenient for you.

Interesting bit for anyone who is wondering the difference between a race "traitor" and a race "trader". Apparently they are the same thing, the use of "trader" is used by folks who don't just don't understand that the term is "traitor"...a bit of a bigot bungle, but understandable, given where a lot of these folks are starting from in the education / intelligence department.

I don't know anything about the person that knee jerk anti trump liberals are attacking or what he was using the term for.

A race trader in my opinion is much like a race pimp who makes his living crying racism every time a minorty does not get what they wanted

I'm just the opposite. If a person sells out his race to the benefit of another race, they are a race traitor. For example, the white guy who endorses racial quotas knowing that whites would lose jobs would be a race traitor.

The poster who said he is cozy with a Mexican might be deemed to be a race traitor for not dating / marrying within his own race (or so I infer by his posts.)

Race trader? New one on me.
