Amnesty makes me ANGRY!

If you're arguing that the Messiah isn't socialist, if your arguing that the Democrats aren't socialist, then, yes, you have no idea what I'm talking about because you don't want to know the truth.

Here are some select planks from the Socialist Party USA's website, to give you an idea what REAL socialists believe. This is just their "economic" planks.

1. We demand the immediate withdrawal of the United States from the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA), and oppose the creation of a widened Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA).

2. We call for worker and community ownership and control of corporations within the framework of a decentralized and democratically determined economic plan.

3. We call for a minimum wage of $15 per hour, indexed to the cost of living.

4. We call for a full employment policy. We support the provision of a livable guaranteed annual income.

5. We call for all financial and insurance institutions to be socially owned and operated by a democratically-controlled national banking authority, which should include credit unions, mutual insurance cooperatives, and cooperative state banks. In the meantime, we call for re-regulation of the banking and insurance industries.

6. We call for a steeply graduated income tax and a steeply graduated estate tax, and a maximum income of no more than ten times the minimum. We oppose regressive taxes such as payroll tax, sales tax, and property taxes.

7. We call for the restoration of the capital gains tax and luxury tax on a progressive, graduated scale.

8. We call for compensation to communities-- and compensation, re-training, and other support service for workers-- affected by plant and military base closings as stop-gap measures until we reach our goal of creating a socialist society totally separate from the global capitalist economy.

9. We oppose the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, and the World Trade Organization as instruments of capitalist oppression throughout the world.

10. We demand cancellation of Third World debt.

11. We call for a National Pension Authority to hold the assets of private pension funds, and a levy against corporate assets for any pension fund deficits.

12. We call for increased and expanded welfare assistance and increased and expanded unemployment compensation at 100% of a worker's previous income or the minimum wage, whichever is higher, for the full period of unemployment or re-training, whichever is longer.

13. We support a program of massive federal investment in both urban and rural areas for infrastructure reconstruction and economic development.

14. We support tax benefits for renters equal to those for homeowners.

15. We call for the elimination of subsidies and tax breaks that benefit corporations and all other forms of corporate welfare.
Which might have a few small similarities but is massively different than what Democrats believe. So please stop your slander and name calling.

Socialism is socialism, the diseased branches of the diseased tree are equally diseased and no amount of grafting onto other trees will stop the spread of the disease of socialism.

Ultimately it's what we have bullets for.

You really have NO respect for others rights, do you?

You really have NO respect for others rights, do you?

Yes, I do.

That's why I can call socialism a disease.

No one who believes "wealth" that ain't theirs should be "redistributed" by any means except the completely voluntary actions of the owners of that wealth has no respect for the rights of others. You want names?

He is not a marxist, a maoist, a socialist, or anything in between. His healthcare plan, for instance, was closest to that of Nixon's for crying out loud. Amnesty was first enacted by Reagan. He is a moderate liberal, he believes in a mixed economy that features free enterprise with government regulation. He didn't even enact a public option, for crying out loud. Stop pretending words mean whatever you want them to mean.

Then again, Nixon was a "Progressive" who implemented a socialist-based scam of wage and price controls that, naturally, didn't work. Nixon was essentailly a liberal who's only failing in the eyes of the Left was a desire to see America succeed.

Do you really think they're going to pull over some person with blue eyes and red hair and think to ask them for proof of citizenship? i somehow doubt that this will be applied to non brown people.

Do you really think a cop has the chance or desire to give a white speeder a pass when he has a ticket quota to meet?

Be for real.

Also, the best way for the Invader to avoid getting stopped by the cops is to obey every single law in the United States. They obey every law, and the cops won't touch them.

Of course, to obey every law, they'll have to haul their illegal ass to the other side of the border, but I don't see where that's my problem.

Those programs aren't all tied together. We're talking about several different unconnected computer networks. Furthermore, much of that information is confidential... you can't access it without violating my right to privacy or nondisclosure agreements made by those companies and entities. Not that you seem to care about peoples' rights.

That's what computer geeks are for. You going to pretend that reading and comparing and/or merging disparate databases is some kind of insurmountable technical challenge when cities in the US are using computers to track how residents recycle their trash?

You're ABSOLUTELY RIGHT.

I cannot access that information because it's confidential.

However, I simply do not look anything like the Department of Homeland Security, nor do I resemeble the ICE or Border Patrol. I look like a private citizen.

DHS, ICE, Border Patrol, the Socialist Security Adminstration, the IRS...they're all government agencies with access to my confidential information, and so having the DHS use it's position as a law enforcement agency to um...what's it called? Oh, yeah!...enforce the law, doesn't seem to be a radical legal step.

You simply do not have a "right" to keep information you provided to one government agency from being read and used by another government agency for official purposes. That's all there is to that silly notion. You might have some point about commercial documents, but the employer files a W2 with the IRS and the SSA knows where you be at, and the DHS has your driver's license, your criminal records, your school records, your traffic records, your car registration, your gun registration, your home's title information, and your bank accounts, all right there, in government hands already.

Which means it's damn easy for the people enforcing immigration law to find out who the lawful employees of a company are, and that means it's eary enough to find out who's employing the invaders.

FINAL NOTE:
I'd be very much surprised if the NIS didn't already have that informatoin sorted and catalogued at their fingertips right now, even to the point of knowing that I spend ten bucks for two ice creams for my kid's at Cold Stone Creamery today.

The BIGGEST failure attributed to law enforcement in the wake of 9-11 was the Gorelick Memo that isolated the CIA from the FBI and allowed the islamists to operate in the cracks. Anyone arguing that those cracks should remain has to explain their tacit support for coddling terrorists and criminals.

Except you dont really understand what Socialism is or even what it means. The fact that you just sort of wave your hand and call everything you think is Socialism by the same name underscores this.

You rail against Socialism but you dont even understand it, how do you expect me to take that seriously?

I'm referring to your reference to shooting people who disagree with you. You can disagree with socialism, and by all means, fight it by all legal channels. But when you start talking about "not enough bullets", you're suggesting a dangerous, dangerous attitude that cannot coexist with the concept of democracy.

That Nixon is now considered a "liberal" shows how far out in right field the modern conservative movement is. The health care bill, which utilizes private insurance companies, is definately not socialist, as its trying to find a private sector solution to a problem, like conservatives did before the movement was hijacked.

Do you really think a cop has the chance or desire to give a white speeder a pass when he has a ticket quota to meet?

Be for real.

What I'm saying is that I doubt the cop is going to ask Charlie Smith for proof of citizenship, while he'd likely ask Pedro Lopez.

Also, the best way for the Invader to avoid getting stopped by the cops is to obey every single law in the United States. They obey every law, and the cops won't touch them.

Can we please stop with the overblown "Invader" rhetoric? It's just another attempt to demonize people and galvanize the populace through fear. And if someone is obeying every single law, then I for one fail to see them as any sort of priority to deal with when there's drug traffickers to worry about. This shouldn't be the kind of country where legal citizens should have to carry "papers" with them on all times.

AND if any illegal mick gets stopped for speeding through Arizona, he'll get hauled off to jail for deportation like any mexican invader would, too.

Being an invader is already a crime. Its time the government stopped interfering with law enforcement agencies who have the weird belief that their job is to enforce the law.

What, if anything, does that have to do with the content matter of my post?
