32,000 deaths
What do you think fellows. Should we surrender the second and welcome the UN in to disarm America?
Nope. What do you think fellows. Should we surrender the second and welcome the UN in to disarm America?

That's America, we say, as news of the latest massacre breaks – last week it was the slaughter of 12 people by Aaron Alexis at Washington DC's navy yard – and move on. But what if we no longer thought of this as just a problem for America and, instead, viewed it as an international humanitarian crisis – a quasi civil war, if you like, that calls for outside intervention? As citizens of the world, perhaps we should demand an end to the unimaginable suffering of victims and their families – the maiming and killing of children – just as America does in every new civil conflict around the globe.
The annual toll from firearms in the US is running at 32,000 deaths and climbing, even though the general crime rate is on a downward path (it is 40% lower than in 1980). If this perennial slaughter doesn't qualify for intercession by the UN and all relevant NGOs, it is hard to know what does.

Come and get 'em you retards, I say.
32,000 deaths? Ok. Not good. But let's put this in perspective - from the WHO's own website, of the top 10 causes of death world wide, death by firearm, heck, death by murder of any kind doesn't even make it to their top ten list.
In fact, after 8 different kinds of health causes (e.g. heart disease, stroke, renal failure, diabetes, etc. etc.) #9 is ROAD INJURY - totalling 1.3 million people world wide.
Now tell me this, of our 32,000 deaths by gun, 20,000 of which are self-inflicted, how in the world would the WHO justify World War III to control a number that represents but 2.5% of the total number of road injury deaths - world wide - annually?
Either someone would have to be asininely concerned with such a statistic - or have nefariously ulterior motives altogether for wanting to take our guns.
(Geezo - I had the utterly stupid logic of some liberals and their misplaced concerns over guns).

Definitely the latter, I'm sure.Probably the latter Edwin.
I just do not know why the UN is allowing a secret terrorist member of the muslim brotherhood and alqueda to have rigged an election to become president for the second time. To think he has criminalized christianity, heterosexuality, and is about to launch a war on christmas, and all the international community does is sits around with their thumbs up their asses while this terrorist dictator flaunts his WMDs and global military complex in front of all of them. He has even made secret fema camps where he throws republicans and then has death panels execute them, and we know all of this because of faux news and still no one does anything. Soon he will force us all to have Obamacare and his wife even made people drink water. All this while most of the people in america live in squalor with iphones, food, and a roof over their head. How can this be allowed to happen?
I can see a scene in some Eurosocialist barracks
who wants to go to America and round up privately held guns. That would rank almost as popular as infiltrating the Triad or the Tongs
Do you mean to say that they would consider it a daunting task?
I've heard this kind of talk before and we will probably hear more of it. The small arms treaty

blue helmets are easily seen in a Gen IV NV scope!!The world better keep its nose out of my gun cabinet, if it doesn't want it shot off.
Which I understand Hillary signed onto for America! They like to overlook the fact that we have a Constitution which predates the UN, I guess.
Good evening, Montecresto. :2wave:
