Activists call for nationwide protests to protect Mueller investigation

Why do these people think Mueller's investigation needs to be protected? Has anyone in the Trump administration taken any action against Mueller? I don't think so.

Quite right.

And when Mr. Trump orders the acting AG to bollix the investigation to the point where all of its records are destroyed, your position is going to be "Well, I'm sure that he has good reasons which he can't tell us right now - so I'm waiting for the facts."

A Mueller Protection Rapid Response Protest Rally took place today near me by a well known Kissing Statue by a downtown area adjacent to Sarasota Bay called Marina Jack in Sarasota Florida. The event took place on a beautiful day! I rode my bicycle to the event. 100s of cheerful people attended.

The NumbSkull Brigade continues to minimize Team Chump's latest efforts, via Legal Goon Matthew Whitaker, to obstruct the Mueller Investigation.

Carry on Anti-Chumpers! Stay on task. Take Life in stride. Better times lie ahead!

An SNN (Sarasota News Network) Cameraman showed up to document the event. The Sarasota Herald Tribune also sent out their main photographer.

So you're one of those people who, unless there are signed affidavits, in triplicate, refuse to believe anything.

Not even remotely surprised by that.

Actually he isn't.

He's one of those people who would refuse to believe what was in those signed affidavits unless he had been personally present when they were drafted, sworn, AND was in possession of the original copies along with a video recording that he had made himself of the deponent verbally stating that the contents of the affidavits were 100% true and correct BUT ONLY if he had irrefutable proof that the deponent was actually the person he represented himself to be and that proof was backed by certified copies of the original records of the deponent that he had, himself, made, PROVIDED that he had unquestionable evidence that there had been zero opportunity to have those so-called "original records" altered in any manner whatsoever.

Yet another mass hysteria created nothing burger. The left is never happy unless they're unhappy. I thought Mueller was about done. Seems like just a week or two there was talk he'd present his report by the end of the year. What's Wittacher going to do? Take awhile his printer?

Let me know when Whitaker does any of that, okay?

Of course none of us know when Whitker says 'no' to Mueller. We only know when there are indictments he said 'yes'. There were no indictments today, so no 'yes'.... day one of wondering if Whitker acted to obstruct justice by quelling progress on the investigation.

We do know, however, that its Whittker's plan to starve the beast.

..and, since he refuses to recuse himself, we know that he wants to take an active role in managing the investigation. So, its a fair conclusion that he will follow his prescription. Of course, he does so at his own peril as he too can be brought up on obstruction of justice charges.

He certainly did not get the job because of his impeccable law credentials or experience in the DoJ, as they are quite pedestrian. He is a legal lightweight who exists because he is more than happy to sacrifice his law license for a little love from Trump. Another useful idiot in the Trump Administration.

Trump hasn't obstructed anything.

Yeah, and the Titanic is unsinkable....

Of course, this is just one more count on an already substantial case of obstruction of justice case that Mueller has already likely built.

Bottom line..?you know nothing but that doesn't stop you from imagining and believing what you imagine to be true.

Have fun in your imaginary world. I'll stick to reality.

But hey...these people must have a lot of time on their hands. They can make their own choices on how to use their time. I don't really care as long as they stay peaceful while they are doing it.

Aside from calling it a witch hunt, firing an AG who recused himself from the investigation, appointing (possibly illegally) an acting AG who trashed the investigation and suggested cutting its funding, wondering where his Roy Cohn is nothing to see here.

Let me know when your imaginary scenario...you know, Trump firing Mueller...happens. Until then, don't try to pass off your imagination as fact and reality.

You can find another hundred opinions from bat **** crazy progressives that anything and everything Trump has ever done is illegal. So what.

Bottom line..?you know nothing but that doesn't stop you from imagining and believing what you imagine to be true.

Priceless! I offer up 15 links to third party reports, each supporting of my assertions, yet each well documented in their own right. In response, you offer NOTHING, yet you think you are the one "stuck in reality"? Yeah, ok.

It seems somethings are very obvious to those on the outside looking in. The one of us that is in reality and the one of us that lives in their own fantasies is one of those obvious things.

Yes, Forbes, Breitbart and CNBC... yeah, "bat crazy progressives" for those so far out on the right wing they are endanger of falling off. You have a counter-point to make, make it and back it up in a way that is equally well documented or simply sit down as you are outclassed.

LOL You are being facetious right? Why else would Trump pick the only man in the Justice Dept who is on the record saying the Russia investigation is a "witch hunt" and has already refused to recuse himself? You should care about this protest because they are telling you that Americans won't stand for anyone messing with Mueller. He is going to get what he has out to the people and he will be able to finish his work undisturbed. Count on it.

Two years, no progress - Mueller was a farce.

If Mueller gives anything "out to the people"...without DOJ authorization...he goes to jail.

Your links are useless spin, speculation, innuendo and hyperbole. As I said, you know nothing.

Moving on...

The investigation needs to end.

Why?

If Mueller has no "startling" revelations tying Trump to Russian election interference in his expected after-midterm "announcements," then IMO there is really no reason for it to continue.

You just said it needed to end as if you were "in the know". Now you start the next sentence with an "if". Sounds like you wish it to end but don't have any real reason as to why.

Trump was right about one thing, Sessions should never have recused himself allowing Rosenstein to create such an expansive authorization memo.

The AG position is there to be the president's personal lawyer.

There's currently what appears to be a massive media blackout on this. There are over 900 protests beginning at 5pm local time today. This is part of the "MUELLER PROTECTION RAPID RESPONSE" by MoveOn that has been organized for over a year and was triggered by the firing of Jeff Sessions. Protesters are planning on digging in and not leaving. This could get interesting if it picks up like Occupy Wall Street did.

If they're out there protesting, who's going to cover the day shift at Burger King?

To the barricades!

But wait:

Oh.

I think these dueling tweets speak quite a bit about the integrity of these "protests." To think there were those here salivating over the idea that Republicans would protest, perhaps even riot, over losing the House.

Because Trump has already tried to end it twice, and failed, and he has a history of trying to interfere with federal investigations.

Glad I could clear that up for you.

Like what? Be specific please.
