A rare day to appreciate those who keep the working class in line.

Don't forget to thank your boss - if you have one - and maybe bring a nice gift.

It really should be a national holiday, but one where only the bosses get the day off.
Yeah, you should be praying in thanks to FDR every day for managing to stop the revolution that would have wiped out your heroes 😂

Because without him, the idea that America would have put up with the status quo indefinitely is laughable.

Hopefully your boss gives you a napkin to wipe off your chin.

Everybody has a boss until you get up to the boardroom, where democracy takes over.

What makes you think the boss keeps the workers in line? The workers keep the boss in line. Or they quit. In a tight labor market, it's the workers holding the cards.

Check any production facility's employment records, and you'll find workers with 20 years at the company and a revolving door of middle managers. Bosses are a dime a dozen. Any idiot can sit at a desk and bark orders. It takes skill to operate machinery.
