According to the Emails.....it was Hillary who came up with the Spontaneous Protest.
Well, maybe...
The thing is, there really isn't anyone else from her Party expressing much interest in running. I started a thread not long ago about that and no forum members came up with anyone who might run if Hillary doesn't. There just didn't seem to be much interest in the topic.
If I were Hillary, I'd be more interested in making things clear to my own Party about whether I'm going to run or not. All this waffling and coyness on her part isn't doing her Party any good.
Who else is there? Biden? He will blow it. Warren? Shes practically a socialist. Its already an uphill slog-Obama isn't making it easier and even just historically, 3 consecutive terms of democrat party wins is unlikely. I think they saw the midterms, and realize what they are doing isn't going to get them the white house.
Don't forget they still have Webb.....former Marine and Undersecretary of the Navy. He is also left of Hillary.
I wasn't aware, gonna have to look him up.
It's pretty obvious that the Republicans have been practicing 'strategic patience' with the Benghazi stuff. They are likely biding their time sitting on relevant information, and likely will ask Hilary to testify at some point. This will likely happen shortly after Hilary announces her candidacy, or perhaps in the middle of her run. For now it's a bit of a Mexican standoff. Hilary trying to determine what kind of dirt the Republicans are sitting on so she can calculate her ability to win an election, and the Republicans simply waiting for her to decide, and thus plotting their timing to determine the most politically damaging moment.
I wonder if anything will come of it if she decides to maintain what's left of her name and sit it out. I certainly wouldn't be surprised at this point.
The left has been saying for years this is a dead horse, and yet here it is. I wonder if you've noticed if anything its gaining momentum and obviously not going away?
I have never expected that Hillary would be the Democratic nominee in 2016, anyway. She has an unlikeable quality about her that I just can't explain but it is there.
I don't think this effects her chances because I don't believe she had a chance to begin with.
I tend to agree with you and find the Benghazi story fairly simple and uninteresting. From my perspective, the Obama Admin. lied about the events there to protect their re-election chances. I think that is obvious and something any honest person will readily admit. The problem is, the Obama Admin. has yet to admit it. Obama lying is irrelevant now. He cant be re-elected. Evidence that Hillary lied will certainly damage her--not among the left who don't care a whit about honesty--but from those who do.The OP and fearandloathing have nearly half the posts in this thread, pumping and bumping it up.
There's not a whole lot of interest even here, a site filled with conservatives. Sure, some diehards will keep pounding it, but after the looooooooooooong, deep and numerous congressional reactions and investigations going on for nearly 2 1/2 years now, with most all outcomes coming to mostly the same conclusion: Nothing there, most thoughtful people have moved on.
Yes, recommendations for improving in the future and some mistakes were made, but nothing that's going to find what these investigations didn't uncover:
Funny you mention something like that.
I'm sensing that the MSM is not thinking that Hillary is a candidate they can help drag over the finish line.
She's got money, yes, but she's got baggage too, and really is a weak candidate.
No ... I think they're going to start a drumbeat for Pocahontas.
Now SHE's someone they could get behind with vigor.
You heard it here first.
And if she wasn't Bubba's wife, she'd have never gotten to be Senator or Sec State. She's a big mouth with an ugly personality. No doubt even the Lefties will have to hold their noses when going to the polls. But they'll do it by God, they sure as hell will. No, she's a strong candidate to the Left, with little accomplishment.
I was referring to the media support for Hillary ... not Democrat voter support in general.
She's no Barack Obama.
She's not a fresh face who can get away with a campaign full of lies.
She's no where near as smooth as Obama.
She's not able to schmooze the media as Obama still does.
Despite her gender, she doesn't capture an automatic bias advantage Obama did.
Obama automatically captured over 90% of a voting block.
Hillary won't capture over 90% of any voting block (including the Democrat Party voting block - they may hold their noses as you say, but she won't pull them all in on election day)
And, no, she will not have the same level of media support Obama has enjoyed.
Hillary will not be a strong candidate.
Have I ever lied to you?
Mornin B. :2wave: Whaddya think.....the Left giving up defending her? How come they aren't defending Hillary like they do BO peep.

If and when the time comes, they'll come around. Right now, they gotta help BO somehow get through the rest of his term here first, you know!
Hillary, right now, is a dog best left sleeping ...for them.
She is caught between a rock and a hard place. She cannot come out and defend Obama as the party requires her to do, she was part of it. And she cannot attack what he is doing because that would alienate the base of the party.
This is when you need an aggressive reporter to go after her....'Madam Secretary as president would you support jobs for terrorists when so few are working in the US?'? "Mrs. Clinton, it now appears the ACA is less than mediocre, what changes would you bring...?
Those are the ligitimat 'gotcha' questions that need be asked of her now,,,that sitting on the fence post needs to made uncomfortable
Greetings, F&L. :2wave:
That may be why she hasn't declared yet. She knows what's awaiting her!

That's true Lady P.....and all it takes is for someone to express what they think of BO Peep and they will be waiting to jump all over that. Then try and get real PC like and technical over words and spelling. Then talk about they don't understand English. :lamo
What I really enjoy is when they try to tell us that what we heard wasn't really what he said, and we're the ones who are wrong! Naturally, being the gullible souls that we are when someone flat out says "if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor," as an example, we tend to take that as fact. Where we err is neglecting to look at the fine print for the numerous exceptions, which always come to light after the fact, BTW, so it's a deficiency we apparently need to remedy, because it's certainly not their problem if we need to have our hearing checked out by an audiologist!

It's a tough slog for the media to support her like they did Obama for the reasons given above.
Unless Pocahontas runs they may be forced to just focus on destroying Hillary's opponent.
They could really get a jones for Pocahontas.
Look, the media is what it is, they'll never change.
