No, we don't know how gravity works. Didn't get past that.

Yes, we do.

Yes, we do.

"Yes we do!" he proclaims, citing an article that calls it "fascinating and mysterious." 😂

No. We can describe it, but we don't know how it works.

We are arguing semantics. In my view, we know that it works, we know what it does, we can measure it and predict it accurately - that says to me we know how it works. I think what you mean is that we don’t know why it works. I would agree with that.

We do until we don't. All we really do is create models that explain observable phenomena. That's not understanding how something works, that's explaining what we know. When the observations are no longer explained by the model, we make a new model.

We don't know either how or why. All we can do is try to explain what happens in our very limited scope of observation.

How, why. Tomato, tommato.
Is it warped space, gravatons, ... No one knows what the source of gravity is

Those of us who paid attention in physics class know that question was solved in 1915.

Ok.

I did not make it past this line from the first paragraph:

Any article on science that references the scientific experts at Readers Digest has issues...
By all means, you should avoid any information that ‘has issues’. 🙄

The question is how reliable the "information" you are presenting is.

Weird because I distinctly remember learning a very specific equation for how it works.

The Fermi paradox!
