Yes but no.
That almost sounds like a hint!
Yes but no.
I looked that one up too, because I knew I'd never get it. You'll likely be surprised....I was.
/covers eyes to not see
Frankie goes to hollywood.Relax,
Frankie goes to hollywood.
Bumping
Yeah, I think I’ve got that one. The beat on “act…real…cool” is the key. I had to think about it for a long time but it really rang a bell. I had a few buddies that really liked the song and especially the video with Larry Blackmon wearing a red cup outside of his pants. I bet it’s “Word Up” by Cameo.airs and act real cool

I like easier ones, because the majority of these leave me totally baffled. So let’s try:
“…when I say softly, slowly…”
Somebody knock this one out of the park, quick.
Correct. That was quick. I asked for it… LOL.Tiny Dancer, Elton John?

Now that we got an easy one out of the way, how about a more difficult one, @Demon?
Anything from the last 45 years gives me a chance. 70’s get sketchy, and 60’s are almost out of bounds. That’s just me. Of course, “Tiny Dancer” was from 1971, so I guess I don’t know what I’m talking about.I'll try to think of one. I have a problem with making them not too easy, but not too hard.

Thanks for posting that. I’m going out to mow the lawn, and I’ll be running it through my head for the next hour or so. I’ve got a couple of ideas of who that may be, but I’ve got to think of the rest of the lyrics to make sure it fits.Ok- a 70s cover of a 60s song:
a little bit of rythm
I think I got that one, finally. Your clue of a 70’s cover of a 60’s song helped a ton.Ok- a 70s cover of a 60s song:

First, I was thinking of ‘The Heart of Rock and Roll” by Huey Lewis, but that was an 80’s song and not a cover. Plus, I worked through the lyrics and it wasn’t there like I thought. Then, I erroneously thought about the word “rhythm,” and wrongly got stuck on “I’m a little bit country, I’m a little bit of rock and roll,” thinking that “a little bit of rhythm” was there, but obviously not.
When I eventually took your clue and deduced that it was a 60’s dance tune, it made more sense. I focused on the phrase surrounding it. “A little bit of rhythm and a lot of soul” brought me to Locomotion, right? I believe it’s been covered many times, and I don’t recall who covered it.
Finally I picked on that took some thought but wasn't given up on! Good job Grogu!
Queen singing lazing on a Sunday afternoon! Maybe? If you would have asked me what band covered “Locomotion” as a hit in the 70’s, I’d still be thinking about it, right into the next decade. LOL. Grand Funk Railroad wasn’t a band I ever listened to. I only knew “We’re an American Band.” Still, a nice exercise. Never would have gotten it without your clue, though.
Here’s one that I’m currently listening to:
And you’re an ordinary guy
Probably another easy one to any fan.
