    thank you on the family expansion. we are delighted. Mia would adopt all the children she could.

    the thinking tree is a beautiful spot. i will journey there once a year now to sit with them.

    how are you? it is good to see you posting here. i always so much enjoyed your posts. it adds a great deal to any forum.

    i have read through many of the lasts texts that Alice had written in. she made up her mind just shortly after Del passed away. she was clear headed and just did not want to be without Del. she found her time and made her peace. i am content now that she has found solace in her end. her ashes were spread in the same location as Del's by the thinking tree. together again as they always were.

    <*sigh*> Now with Alice's tragic passing, I feel doubly saddened to read these messages. I had debated "disabling" visitor messages, but after some inward thinking, I believe leaving them up as a tribute to two people who meant a great deal to me makes more sense.... Indulge me please.

    Sands, I believe you will carry on the struggles that you both held dear. Del showed me in your words the same passion that she carried and the same vigor for greater freedom and justice. I am now made more by knowing that her light will shine on in one as you. Be well. As i spread her ashes I will call you to mind. I am certain that she would have liked that. always love Alice

    Del had mentioned you. She said you were also a Lone Dog. She pointed out and had me read a few of your postings. they were always very good. Del said that you were one of the better posters she had ever run across and that it was a shame that the other board could not understand you. I just wanted you to know what Del saw and what you meant. Alice (Del's wife)
