This article is from January of this year and shows that money equates to popularity, more access, and his rise to popularity in the left with a lot of his donations coming from outside the NYC area.

In the primaries with Cuomo getting spanked and now running as an independent, the left is hedging a Mamdani win......hence why I say it's being given to him. Although I know it takes hard work, the left is going to do what's necessary to get "their" candidate the ticket.

This time around "that" candidate is Mamdani......

Lots of good people take advantage of public housing, especially those with young families.

But there is the fact that the People have been starved of a political party that wants to cater to the People over corporations and Party coffers. So there's likely excitement in his policies because of that.
