Right now the incoming administration is talking to the current one and Ukrainian officials. The former has outlined a very basic plan which is looking to keep supporting the war if Russia doesn't negotiate. What we're not clear on is what are the red lines for the US and Ukraine. We know what Ukraine wants, we know what Russia wants, but the US position is still vague outside of the bumper sticker slogans and the now expired 24 hour window Trump said he would end the war in. If Russia doesn't offer anything substantive, then it looks like the US will continue aiding Ukraine if that plan holds.

But Trump is also more interested in expanding and strengthening the power of President as well. Both parties have grown the office, but we can see in P2025 the desire for more power and less questions/checks.

Actually I don't because what you posted I already read, and your own citation is a bit of a self own since Putin's position isn't a good faith negotiating starting point.
