I’d take out my phone and record. And then tell the cops the Trump supporter was walking into an abandoned house when two Law and Order Patriots stepped up to stop him from stealing stuff.

Not entirely sure how I’d react but it would def be in a manner to try and help the person being assaulted.

Given that most of these confrontations are occurring during protests in the middle of the pandemic, I probably wouldn't be there in the first place. In the extremely unlikely chance that I were, my first priority would be to secure my own safety without endangering others, and that most likely includes getting the hell out of there. I'm not going to try to play the hero and just make a bad situation worse.

Now what about you? What would you do if the roles in your hypothetical scenario were reversed?

Well I certainly wouldn't run away like a pansy and "secure my own safety". I would 100% physically defend a Biden supporter if he were being assaulted by 2 or more Trump supporters.

Look at Hawley. I don’t want anyone to be hurt, necessarily, but I have no idea why the GOP thinks playing with fire like this is smart. He’s going to stand up on the senate floor and demand an election be overturned to the guy responsible for 350k American dead.

Too many potential variables not included in your scenario to give a single blanket answer, but to be clear, I wouldn’t care what the victim’s political affiliation is.

if it was a simple two on one, with no weapons involved, I’d jump in to stop it.

A half dozen on one, I’d call 911, then try to attract others attention to come help stop the beat down.

Armed attacker/s (number is irrelevant) demonstrating the intent of doing great bodily harm or kill the one person, I’ll just say I’d be prepared to exercise my 2A rights to put an end to the attack.
